|POLICE CONFIRM INVESTIGATION AND TRIAL DATE SET
February 19, 2017 - Various / Elvis Express Radio
A couple of days ago, we reported the alarming news that Elvis' twin Grand Daughters, Harper Vivienne Ann and Finley Aaron Love had been taken into care after mother, Lisa
Marie Presley reported finding "hundreds of indecent photos' of children" on their dad's computer.
NOW, Beverly Hills Police Department have confirmed that they had received allegations of child abuse relating to Lisa Marie Presley’s family last summer.
Finley and Harper Lockwood, eight, have reportedly been removed from the home of Presley and her estranged husband Michael Lockwood by social workers, and placed in the
care of California’s Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS).
A trial date has now been set for March 17th to determine the twins future. Lisa Marie has made alleged in the official court papers filed as part of her divorce from Lockwood that
she found hundreds of indecent photos and videos of children on his personal computer.
The 49-year-old daughter of Elvis Presley said of the discovery in the court papers: “I was shocked and horrified and sick to my stomach”. She has also revealed that police carried
out a raid on the home she formally lived in with Lockwood where they discovered 80 devices that belonged to him, but these have yet to be fully analysed by Police.
On Saturday (Feb 18), Beverly Hills police confirmed they have received child abuse allegations involving the family in the summer of 2016, and they referred the investigation to
authorities in the state of Tennessee.
Authorities have also confirmed that a search warrant had been served “at a residence in the City of Beverly Hills that led to the seizure of several items.”
Police have also confirmed that the family were visiting Beverly Hills when the allegations of child abuse were made back in June, 2016, however, the statement does not specify
whom the claims were made against.
After carrying out an initial investigation, Police detectives found the allegations in question had originated in Tennessee and officially called in the Tennessee Bureau of
Investigation in order to take over the investigation.
Officers travelled to Beverly Hills and spent time working with the local Police. After a detailed investigation, officers determined that no criminal activity took place in Beverly Hills,
the Police statement said.
Lockwood has denied his estranged wife’s allegations, and called her “vindictive”.
“It is particularly distasteful that (she) has placed more value on trying to damage my reputation than on the fact that her false statements may be brought to our daughters’
attention,” he said in court papers filed on Friday (Feb 17).
Presley and the 55-year-old musician Lockwood married in 2006, with Lisa Marie filing for divorce last June, citing irreconcilable differences. She added in the papers that she has
to pay for two nannies to accompany Lockwood as monitors when he visits his daughters.
