Hi Lee, Joe and everyone at EER,
Fantastic show as usual.
Re: the song "Im Leaving" sorry Joe I have to agree with Lee. I believe most Elvis fans have heard this song.
I am in Australia and think where you live has no bearing whatsoever on whether you have heard this song or
not. I have known of this song for many years, not because I have heard it being played over the airways so
much but because I have the album. Good song too.

As for Leo, I agree with Marty 100%.  Leo, why bother even listening if you feel that Lee is so wrong. Whilst
EER encourages its listeners to feel free to have their say, your blatant disrespect for Lee and for EER is so
transparent you need to jump on another band wagon where others like you can feel united. No disrespect
Leo, but dont waste your time here no more you're too insightful for us....NOT. !!
Best wishes to you all
Bye for now

Hey Lee and Joe another kick ass show this week it was a blast to listen to!!!!
What is with all these people trying to stir up trouble on your awesome show it is just getting annoying,
seriously if these people don't like the show why listen? But anyway don't listen to these negative people
keep up all the great work you give us fans!!! Also that video of elvis in a turbon was defintley different
something you don't see too often.

Also just to inform you and the listeners I saw on a site (not sure if it is defintley true) for this weeks edition of
American idol the 9 contestants will be doing elvis songs so i am just letting you know this in case you want to
watch it

Another 3 hours of great Elvis radio. Thank you for still going on dispite the technical issues and I hope you
raise the money soon so that we the fans get to continue to enjoy the great shows EER bring us.

Yes the Kinard issue has certainly given more light on everyone else involved in the past and I have to agree
with Lee where he says so many lies have been told about these things that for anyone without too much
knowledge would be fooled into believing these stories. If Dr Nick and Dean has said these things about the
tour jacket etc then they too are part of the lie.....everyone knows Elvis never had a bloody tour jacket just
like he never had a TCB I.D. badge that Bonja peddled some time back.

Joe, I cannot believe for one moment that fans around the world would know 'Im Leavin' but only a few USA
fans would? Surely it's simply a case of if those fans have the albums that the song has been issued on? If
so then it is what Lee say's, most casual fans will not know the song but 100% of full time fans will know the
song.
Way to go Marty...Leo, you really do love these shows don't ya!!

Great show again this week.
The Kinard article was very interesting and yet sadly shows that no matter what the truth, the man is never
going to accept he has a buch of nothing. After all, why the hell would someone like you & Joe go all out to
say something that was Elvis' was not anything to do with him? Exactly, you would not.
Regarding 'Im Leaving' the song is easily known by fans around the world and I do not think for one moment
that living in America would mean you don’t know as many songs etc. Surly it's down to, as Lee points out,
the kind of fan you are? Casual fans would not know he song, fair enough, but actual fans would know it no
matter where they are from.

Thanks Lee and Joe.
The new article about that bus and all the latest stupid claims was really interesting and I read Bill Kinards
letter with interest. I am looking forward to seeing who will be the first person to raise a fuss and start
demanding and threatening?
Joe, I disagreed with you last week about I'm Leavin and this week I still disagree with your opinion that most
American fans will not have heard of the song. I agree with Lee and that is if you are a fan who has all the
main and essential albums then you will know the song. If you are a "fan" who only has the hits albums and
the odd compilation then probably not.

Leo,
From all the bulls##t I have heard coming from you about Lee and E.E.R, why the hell do you waste your
precious time listening to the shows or even reading the website?

Is your life that miserable that you have to compensate for it by coming to E.E.R and venting your misery and
hate on Lee or are you just a plain and simple idiot that likes to just stir up trouble?

From what I can see you're all by yourself in your opinion of Lee, Joe and E.E.R. May I suggest that you
subscribe to Sirius Radio, if you're not subscribed yet, and spend your time listening to the George Klein
Show, you and Klein would make a great pair. Two liars!

Something tells me that I'm saying something a lot of fans would like to say to you.

I have to 100% disagree with what Joe said about Elvis fans and the song, I'm Leavin!
First of all I will agree with Lee that the majority of fans will of heard of the song and two I don't agree with Joe
saying if asked via email, most fans would lie if asked about knowing the song and say yes if they didn't. I
cannot agree with any of Joe's theories on this one.

Leo
(Regarding The Elvis Request Show)
Oh here we go again, more stupid stuff from Lee.
He goes on about songs missing from the legacy edition of On Stage, it’s supposed to have the original
tracklisting and a few bonus songs, not the added songs from the 1999 release. And as for I’m Leavin, just
because Lee likes it he can’t accept the reality that as Joe rightly says, not many fans will have heard of the
song. This is just one of many songs that most fans will not know. Alan from Scotland, it’s Lee who is the one
way out of touch on this one as he is n most things.

Another thing from Lee, what the hell is he on about calling for a celebration of TTWII for it’s 40th year? What
are they gonna do? Sony re-release the album and Warner to re-release the DVD.......WOW, what a great
must have commemorative series??? NOT!!!! Another example that Lee knows not what he is on about.

(Regarding The Elvis Request Show)
Another great show from the best Elvis radio station on the web.
Regarding Elvisly Yours and EPE, I would actually shelve these two companies as equal......both sell tatt and
use IMPS to help make Elvis a cartoon image in order to sell more of their tatt.

Will EPE / SONY do anything to mark the 40th Anniversary of TTWII? I seriously doubt that. I think the place
to be for a real celebration of this great body of work will be right here at EER!

As for the song, I'm Leavin, are you having a laugh Joe? To say most Elvis fans would not have heard of this
song is outrageous. As Lee said, people with a passing interest in Elvis & who have the odd hit packages
yes, but fans, I think Alan in Scotland is right on this one and that is Joe is definitely does not have his finger
on the pulse of Elvis fans on this one.

(Regarding The Elvis Request Show)
Last Friday's Request Show started out very promising and was going so smoothly.
But then Joe had to turn up and it quickly turned into amateur hour with Joe's usual mindless antics bringing
chaos and disorder to the show.
From Joe not knowing how to work his own computer, to his annoying ring-tone going off.

But Joe managed to top his usual inane behavior with his comment that has everyone befuddled...So Joe
thinks most Elvis fans don't know the song 'I'm Leavin.'
He thinks 9 out of 10 Elvis fans never heard of the song. Wow!
Just when he thought he had most of the Request Shows listeners on his side after all the hits he has been
taking lately he insults their intelligence with this ridiculous statement.

As usual through Joe's disorganized mess Lee managed to hold the show together. He certainly has his work
cut out for him. Keep up the great work Lee.
And keep up the inferior work Joe. Your ever growing incompetence never ceases to amaze us. :)   James

Joe, where have you been hanging out? Not sure where it is but if the fan there don’t know the song I’m
Leavin then they need some serious education into the music of Elvis Presley. I would say most fans, a least
the one’s who are full time fans will know every single song that Elvis has done over the years. It’s only the
casual fans or the general public who will not know everything Elvis has done.

documentarys. It's on the ELVIS 75 collection, Its on the Elvis Aron Presley silver box set from the 80's and
has been on a couple of great FTD titles. Nah sorry, I cannot accept that as Joe says, MOST Elvis fans will

Thanks for the show this week and I want to tell a little story about an incident that took place recently.
PLEASE, don't jump to any early conclusions until you read all of this.

I was really angry at Joe a week or so ago after I made a light-hearted joking comment about his sometimes
distant responses and when I was told Joe had been offended by it and wanted it removed. I was angry
because we all know that Lee allows the right to reply & freedom of speech for everyone, including people
who have actually attacked Lee, (I only made a little light-hearted joke in the middle of saying how great Lee
& Joe were together), it seemed to me that if anyone says something that Joe did not like, then it will be
removed, which is the total opposite to what E.E.R is all about, it’s not like all these other sites/groups where
anything said that one of the moderators does not like is removed, and as a result of this I wrote an email to
Lee telling him I will never write in again because what’s the point when if I write anything that mentions Joe,
then I would face the possibility of being accused of being nasty to him?

I am a massive fan of E.E.R and love what this show is all about and so I can tell you I was really happy to
hear what Joe said on this week’s show, which I took to be regarding his reaction to my comment and I want
him to know that I am really chuffed to know he accepts that he over-reacted to a friendly bit of tongue in
cheek banter, I think Joe is just starting to understand British humour.....So what about this week’s show? It
was great as ever and the music choices where faultless as can only be expected.

The email from Charles was interesting to hear, because the funny thing was it was one of the friendliest
complaints I have ever heard lol. The guy was not calling for Joe to go altogether but saying that he enjoyed
his part when he would be 15-20 minutes and an interview as an extra part of the show. I have to say I have
not seen the messages that Charles refers to about listeners asking for the show to go back to how it was
before. I said it before and I will say it again, Lee is a great host and Joe makes a great co-host for the show,
he is not the first co-host and he may not be the last but they do make a good team at this time. Again I am
so happy to know that Joe realises that I was not attacking him and may E.E.R live on Forever!

I am glad he does not get the FTD released and other things because it gives Lee the chance to give his
usual enthusiastic report on them, be they great or not so great. I do want to be honest here and say that
Lee is EER, he created this great show and has brought it to where it is today after 10 great years. If Joe
decided to leave today would we miss him, well yes most of us would (The Pro-Joe’s not the No-Joe’s lol I
loved that Lee) but the show would go on because Lee can do these shows on his own as he has done for
more shows than not. The same thing applied when Paddy was on the show, we all knew he would not be the
best to bring us a show on his own but like Joe he made a really great co-host and both were/are a welcome
addition to the show.

Well LEE amazing show again,
I really don't know what Leo's problem is? I'd rather have Elvis walk in to the concert tour this year in a multi
coloured suit ,than have a Imp in a suit...,
There is loads of footage of Elvis wearing a white suit, from  Elvis on tour that could have been used in the
intro to the concert.

Elvis wears many suits in the footage used for the tour, so what difference would it make what colour suit
Elvis had on,just as long as it was Elvis & not an imp.
I got quite angry at this, but not you Lee, you just rose above it.

The show looked great on the footage I've seen and I think it has a future with new band members and would
hope it will return one day.

I loved your story about Elvis in concert 77, when you stuck up for Elvis, I'm sure we have all done something
like this in the past and will continue to do so in the future as Elvis fans, we treat Elvis like a member of our
family, so its a natural thing to do.

The request show was fantastic this week, thanks for another great show Lee.
That Elvis movie, 'Tears of a King'......what the hell was that thing? Matthew Lewis is apparently some great
IMP but that was bloody awful. Yes Lee, the "Priscilla, rolls off the tongue" was comical to say the least. It
looks terrible and I am happy to say it looks like it is impossible to find on DVD or video, which really is a good
thing I would think.

Why is it people like Leo has to take the time to write in and be so nasty? Mind you, I gotta say Lee, I really
do admire you so very much for allowing people to have their say, even when they are absolutely being
horrible and vicious towards you. Not everyone is like this are they, too many people in the Elvis World would
throw a tantrum and sling their rattle out if the pram even at the slightest thing. But that's what makes Elvis
Express Radio so unique in the Elvis World, your listeners are allowed their say about anything that they
want to say that is to do with the show and the hosts etc. Never change this one of a kind way because that is
so fresh and original.

(Regarding The Elvis Request Show)
Hi Lee & Joe
About Jerry Weintraub and his story of Vernon and the Colonel arguing. I can certainly imagine this
happening. But what I have noticed about Elvis acquaintances and insiders is that over time the stories get
bigger and bigger.

For example after 30 year Tom Jones decides to tell a story about Elvis in the shower singing and standing in
front of him naked. Then the next video I see of Tom telling this story Elvis is in the shower singing and naked
and them leaves a Gun on the toilet.

Why was that not mentioned the first telling of this story. because these people like to embellish their stories
with each telling. make it and them a little more interesting and important.

George Kline for example arranged everything Elvis ever did. Every meeting, every idea and every contract
all because of George. yet there is only one picture of he and Elvis together.

Cybil Sheppard enhances her relationship with Elvis every time she's on TV.. etc etc etc…

I just think with every year that passes, people that knew Elvis want to upgrade their relationship and status
in Elvis' life.
So did Jerry really whiteness this argument. I doubt it, it just makes for good copy….

Did Elvis really talk to his twin brother all the time as shown In Elvis the movie, NO it's just poetic license,
which I accuse a lot of Elvis associates of.

soundtrack that is actually from the tour. This is a long over due album release as is the complete 25th
Anniversary concert on DVD. Anyway, you guys are a great team and long may you continue to rock on in
the Elvis world.

Thank you again for these most wonderful shows.
I find it ironic that I should tell you how welcome EER has made me feel as a fan of Elvis and a person and
that for the first time I felt part of an Elvis family to then hear that someone actually made threats to not play
the music of the man we all love makes me so angry and sad. It shows me again how lucky I and my fellow
listeners are that we have a wonderful thing in EER and you amazing hosts welcoming one and all into the
fun.

hey lee and joe it is great to hear that John Wilkinson is at home and doing better this weeks show was just
simply Awesome and it was  very funny the whole bit about giving kids coffee was just so funny and the
analogy about giving kids coffee is just as bad as giving kids a cigarrete was crazy you guys are just so funny
and you guys are great people!!! Also i agree that there should be a elvis the concert soundtrack because i
think it would be a hit. I am with joe about the Jerry Weintraub story the one thing you have to question is that
this is the first time people has heard this story. Keep up all the fantastic work that you guys do.

Last week was a mind blowing short fall of requests...what is it with Elvis fans?
Why do they become so complacent with things?
Recently, I have been listening to old shows and have to ask what has happened to the EERBS? Why do we
never hear from any of these anymore?
What has happened to Dave Walker? and where are those who were privileged to be with you for show 500?
Terry, Briget, Mandy, Paddy, Adam? Where are all the regular names from the past? Come on now people...
Don't desert Lee and EER, he makes sure we get our 3 shows a week and the least we can all do is make
one or two bloody song choice a week.

A big hello to Lee and Joe. I am a new listener and have to say this show is just brilliant. I love the way the 3
part show is so original in the way it is presented like a various music show and unlike most places in the
Elvis World - EVERYONE is allowed to have their say and EVERYONE gets to agree or not agree and I love it
how you dont allow people to attack someone for an opinion. The way you dealt with that funny apology last
week from the IMP woman was great. The Love show is also great and the TCB is a fantastic extra show. For
me E.E.R is the number one Elvis radio show & site and I will be listening always and spreading the word.

this week shot by and had me laughing several times.
Just like Lana I was laughing so much when Lee shouted at Joe and his cheese eating episode....and yes,
how rude it is too! A really great show you two.

Lee, thank you for keeping us informed with the health of John Wilkinson and he will be in my thoughts as I
hope he gets well soon and kicks the arse of this cancer because he is one of the best, kindest most
wonderful people ever to grace the Elvis stage and the world is a better place with him in it and I love that he
is a supporter of EER and look forward to hearing him on the show once again.

Great show guys. I kind of agree with the listener regarding Elvis’ voice in 1970 and like Lee my favourite
period for Elvis is 1969 to 1971/2. Elvis was of course better than anyone else after and before, but this
period for me and I guess Lee also is the pinnacle. I can’t personally understand why Joe could not get that?
He must have a favourite era of Elvis or is his favourite era wrapped in plastic lol? I want to also send my
sincere wishes to John Wilkinson and hope he makes a speedy recovery.

Lee and Joe you do make me chuckle but I will say one thing to Joe...it’s like Lee says, in the civilised/free
world it’s the day then the month then the year (27.02.10) the real spelling is colour, the correct
pronunciation is IRAQ not Eye-raq, Elvis fans are allowed to buy FTD from their fan clubs, Elvis fans are
allowed to buy CD’s, Books & DVD’s not first approved by the dictatorship that is EPE, everyone gets medical
treatment oh and cheese is not made of plastic (wink wink).

Hey Lee and Joe another fantastic show this week!!!!!
The shows just get better and better every week!!!! Hey Lee I am sorry to hear that your pain has been

better. Also I have seen clips of viva Elvis and I am forward to see a DVD release of this and a soundtrack
and I have been seeing on different sites of fans critizing this already. Another thing to everyone who is going
to see Elvis the concert I hope you guys have a fantastic time!!

One final thing my favourite era is 68-72 and I agree that in feb of 70 was when his voice was at his best I do
like other eras of Elvis live but that is when I think he was just simply AWESOME!!!! On a side note I just want
to say thank you to EER for all the great shows and because of EER I have had the great pleasure to meet

This weeks show was without doubt another example of why your show has lead the way ever since your first

shows or cutting them short and yet we can't even be bothered to get off our asses to make a simple request
or to even make a flaming donation or a message of thanks.

Lee, I feel totally ashamed and while I hope you find yourself better soon I am going on over to make a
request this very moment. Thank you Lee for always being there for Elvis and us....the website, the emails,
the articles, the chart info, producing the shows, presenting the shows, putting the shows online and letting

Hey Marty, Thanks dude lol that’s ok everyone's doing it lol.

Chrisy, LOL thank you I guess for that sort of apology?
I must say though, you lost me a little with you saying I attacked "us"? I had no idea I attacked you let alone
"us"?
So I can only guess the IMP you were talking about being one of the few who were great is your
husband/partner?
As for your apology? What you are saying is if anyone disagrees with you then as far as you're concerned
they are attacking you?
I am also pleased to see you got my name right this time.....even if did only last once and soon went back to
some guy called Nathan.
But again I will say thanks for your sort of apology and I guess we wont be getting the hear this IMP that is
one of only a few who are great for Elvis then?

Chrisy
(Regarding The Elvis Request Show)
Dear Nathanial:
I really want to apologize to you for the rudeness that my comment left. Although I do feel you had personally
attacked us, that is neither here nor there.

I am sorry buddy.

My week has been not so good, I have been sick and that is definitely no excuse but it did contribute to some
of the harsh words directed towards you.

I know that this is a non-imp site but there is no denial that the love for Elvis is still in our hearts deeper than
most, imp or not.
Our lives are full of the REAL Elvis mixed with a little more than the typical person.

We do however have to tell you that no ONE can judge us as individuals as to what we do.
Our lives mixed with the Elvis community has brought many good deeds that we have done for the community
and Elvis fans. And there are many times and moments that for the normal Elvis fan, we have experienced
things that would not be common in the Elvis world.

But to make this short, we are not in competition or out there to change any ones opinions on the IMP issues,
I was mearly trying to explain some of the IMP world that many have never been a part of. With that you can
either take it or leave it, but we stand firm in our lives as to the love for Elvis.

I will ALWAYS say that NO ONE can or ever will come close to Elvis in singing or performing that is a natural
given. And to think that you can do so is a dream that will never be accomplished.

So Nathan: I take you off the table, brush myself off a bit...and apologize for the rudeness, hoping that the
Radio show that EER puts out each week continues to grow and feed us with knowledge as they have. I
personally do not want to cause any drama and hope in the future that I am not attacked as a human being
also, as that is the way I personally took your response to my posting. Chrisy

(Regarding The Elvis Request Show)
To Chrissy & Nathaniel,
Nathan (Sorry about that, I couldn't resist), I wholeheartedly agree with you in regard to impersonators.

Chrissy,  forget the IMPS, if you want to hear and see Elvis, put on one of his DVD's,movies or concerts or
listen to one of his records. None of those clowns are anywhere near Elvis in talent, looks and charisma.
These guys are not Tribute Artists as they claim, they are more like Insult Artists who are trying to live off of
Elvis' memory because they're seeking their 15 minutes of fame.  If they're talented they should try to make it
as themselves and stop turning Elvis into a cartoon in the media which has happened over the years
because the media always picks out the worst of the jump suited fake side burned clowns.

I'm not trying to hurt your feelings Chrissy but maybe, if you're that big a fan, think of Elvis and his memory.
Do you want the media to continue making fun of him because of they way these clowns act. A jumpsuit, dyed
black hair, fake sideburns and sunglasses does not an Elvis make.

(Regarding The Elvis Request Show)
Whoa there Chrisy dear.
First of all my name is NATHANIAL and not Nathan!
Second, it was nice for you to hear my “non-experienced opinion once again”? I’ve never had contact with
you before now.

So, it’s ok for you to have your say and share your views for all to hear or read, but if anyone says anything
that is not of your thinking then you launch into some ridiculous attack on them.

For anyone who may think I said something so wrong that it warranted such an tantrum, this is what I sent
into the show as a reply to the statement made by the Charming Chrisy regarding IMPS..

I just want to comment about the issue from Chrisy regarding IMPS.
I can only assume Chrisy knows an IMP or follows a specific IMP because of the way she was quick enough to
slam other IMPS but makes sure she points out that a FEW IMPS are great for Elvis......again, I suspect those
FEW include the one she follows or knows but I would be willing to bet that the one she supports is no
different to any other IMP and that is they cant sing like Elvis or even sing at all and are like all the others
making Elvis look like a cartoon character.

I think Chrisy should put her money on the table and let us have a little listen to this IMP that is one of the few
that keeps the motion of Elvis alive.

But this type of HOW DARE YOU abuse is becoming regular with you isn’t it, wasn’t it last week when
someone got their balls cut off for having the audacity to say something that was of alternate thinking to that
of our Chrisy?

Did you know that Elvis Express Radio is a place that welcomes fans to ask questions and a share opinions
without getting abuse for doing something so evil as  daring to respond to a statement which you made about
something...So you’re not interested in telling us who the IMP is that you think keeps the memory of Elvis
living on so that everyone else can have a listen? And as for the remark...“As to who I know? Your head
would roll...thud...thud...thud” Oh dear.

In Regards to Nathan - It was nice to hear your non-experienced opinion once again!

In fact your judgmental point of view has left us noticing that you have terrible table manors.

Your comments remind me of a snake slithering across the table of molded food smelling of dead stinch.

With that perhaps you should take a look at yourself and get some serious psychological help?
You have no right to judge me, my friends or anyone else.
Maybe it would be best if you just took care of yourself better? You could start by trying to make
yourself happy instead of sounding sarcastic and bitter?
As to who I know? Your head would roll...thud...thud...thud...and it's none of your business.

Surley this will bring a response, but don't expect one back as you are not worth my time.
