When I heard that IMP Lee played I thought that was that.......it was all over, Lee had finally cracked up and
gone doolally.
Once again we have another fine example of the type of wailing wannabee's out there doing crappy
impersonations of the greatest entertainer of all time. Will we ever be rid of them? No,. I don't think so which
is a great shame, it's way too late and Lee summed it up really. More fans go to see an IMP singing Elvis
instead of going to a disco playing Elvis singing Elvis! An IMP radio show gets more backing than a radio
show that only plays the real thing! The Elvis world is screwed.

Hi Guys,
I have'nt requested in a while, but I still listen to all the shows and I'm loving every minute.
Nice to see Colonel Parker's deranged love child AKA Leo is still spewing his verbal diarrhoea. Come on Leo,
your brain is like most of Joe's Cd collection......unused. Do us a favour and try using it now and then. Most
Elvis fans know he was a money grabbing old carny for most of Elvis' life, who was only interested in making
HIMSELF more money no matter what the cost. He was good for Elvis in the 50's but after 1962...nothing.
Leo mentioned that Parker set up the great Aloha show in 73 but as far back as 1966 Todd Slaughter was
bugging the Colonel to use the satalite 'Telstar' to beam a worldwide telecast and finally Parker looked into it,
so it wasn't even his idea!! I think that had Elvis dumped Parker in the 60's he would be here today, still
having hits and fresh challanges. To me Parker was a cold heartless man.
Keep up the great work guys,

Hi Lee & Joe!
Fantastic shows - have no fear we're always listening to you away over here!! Just been SO busy!!!
Love all your comments and keeping us informed what's happening in the Elvis World...I hated hearing the
Dr. Nick stories and he should have never been allowed to practice again!! I'm sure tho' Elvis would have
"bought" another doctor doncha think?...it's all so very sad indeed...and then there's the Colonel - well I think
he should have been given the boot in about '62...it's just so unbelievable what happened in Elvis' career
because of the Colonel...my husband & I watched him blow 20 Grand in Tahoe -in '73...pathetic..we just had
enough money for 2 shows to see Elvis and our trip and accomodation away back then...anyway don't we all
wish we had a magic wand to go back in time and change a few things...it's all so tragic the way things
worked out.

My question this week is: Why is it that a certain website that is touting Rare Elvis photos getting away with
stealing other peoples photos and taking photo shots movie clips?
If you look thru the site you can tell that there are cuts from Movies, cuts from other people's web sites ect.
They have even copied pictures from auction sites that I have seen before and are using it as RAREELVIS
photos.. they even linked into Elvis Insiders and was broadcasting their webcam that they have up for
members! Lately we have noticed that some of the photos are copied and pasted into other places trying to
make them look origional and rare.....EXCEPT for the fuzzy gray lines....Dumb *&*&s!
And...I wanna know what is so rare about an outside Graceland photo or even an inside photo that the
average Joe can take for free?
I think what bother's me the most is that this web site owner is pasting their infamous name across OTHER
peoples stolen photos that they have copied and pasted on their site.
I would love to let someone know that there are copyright infringment laws all over the world not just US and
when the photos are altered this still is in violation of the copyright laws! Are these people just plain stupid or
do they even care?

Hello Lee and Joe. Recently I purchased the import cd “The Brightest Star on Sunset Boulevard“containing a
July 24th TTWII rehearsal. Not to my surprise the sound quality on this cd is actually better than what I’ve
heard on official releases. I think this confirms what you guys briefly talked about last week regarding FTD
not giving us fans the best sound quality available.
Of course the reason for this is that in a few years time they can re-release the same material again along
with a press release saying “digitally remastered for optimal sound”.

Great show as always.
I just want to comment about the issue from Chrisy regarding IMPS.
I can only assume Chrisy knows an IMP or follows a specific IMP because of the way she was quick enough to
slam other IMPS but makes sure she points out that a FEW IMPS are great for Elvis......again, I suspect those
FEW include the one she follows or knows but I would be willing to bet that the one she supports is no
different to any other IMP and that is they cant sing like Elvis or even sing at all and are like all the others
making Elvis look like a cartoon character.
I think Chrisy should put her money on the table and let us have a little listen to this IMP that is one of the few
that keeps the motion of Elvis alive.

Hello Lee and Joe,
Can I ask Chrisy, what on earth she means by IMPS keepings the Elvis in motion in memory going...and that
seeing a good one makes it all worth watching?
For me the memory of Elvis in motion is throuogh his movies and his concert films, not some tubby tom in a
jumpsuit singing badly and they will NEVER be worth watching at all.
There was also something said about how most IMPS have lost what Elvis was all about......From that remark
I guess Chrisy is a fan of an IMP who she thinks is one of the minority who still keep what Elvis was all
about.........yeah right! If any IMP knew what Elvis was all about then they would pack up what they do and
help get rid of the cartoon image that they have helped create of Elvis and Elvis fans to the general public.
This is one of my favourite songs and I would love it to be played on this weeks show if there is time.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(13.01.10)
Chrisy from K&C
(Regarding The Elvis Request Show)
Lets talk IMPS:
First;
There are the Bad: The ones that run around Graceland with their jumpsuits on any and all hours of the day,
disrespecting the man himself 'Elvis'. These are the waste basket wanna-bes that just are plain desperate to
make $50.00 at your Mama's Birthday party. You know the ones with the wigs...the fake sideburns....150 lbs
over weight with the grandma homemade jumpsuit...or even better the halloween outfit you can buy at the
local store. This type of IMP is definitely putting the good ones to shame...
Second: You get the medium average man or woman or child that is really obsessed with the whole idea they
are Elvis...yes there is a sickness out there like this..it is real Lee, and it is more prevalent than you would
imagine. This type spends ungodly amounts of money to look like Elvis. They even go to the extent to have
plastic surgery. Children are being pushed with the ching-ching of money in the parents head, this is real.
This type of IMP is dangerous, they are terrible, no matter what they do, but they have a backer, they may
look good or they may not but they just are never up to par because they have other motives.
Third: There are a very few IMPS that are out there for the right reasons. Not the money, but because they
enjoy singing. They are trying to keep the image of Elvis as real as it was when he was alive. They love his
music and saw all the good in Elvis that he did. They have the ability to try to bring that good and visual
remembrance of Elvis back to people that want it.
The problem as we see it today is that: The new generations of the Elvis IMPS are loosing sight of what Elvis
wanted to convey. They have lost the real music, image and motions. Why? Could it be that people at
Graceland are marketing sale items for IMPS? YES so the promotion of IMPS through Graceland itself is
very pushy. As the years go on the true image of all IMPS will be loosing the real aspect of what Elvis was.
And that makes them really bad. Maybe someone ought to give out licenses after IMPS go thru a 3 year
course before they can legally perform...I don't know....but Lee there are some few good ones still left out
there for the right reasons.
IMPS will never be Elvis in reality we all know that except the sick ones, but to keep the Elvis in motion in
memory...sometimes a good one makes it all worth watching.

Absolutely brilliant show this week and I must say I agree wholeheartedly that Elvis needs a complete revamp
thanks to the cartoon IMPS and the tacky gag Elvis items like the stupid Halloween outfits, glasses and stuff
like that. Lee is so right, there is so much more to Elvis than the last few years of his life and he is also bang
on right about the fact that IMPS will happily trade in the respect for Elvis when offered some cash or TV
exposure.
I saw one IMP on a TV hidden camera show turn up and perform sing I'm a little tea pot, dressed as Elvis and
he kept saying he was the real Elvis to this old guy who was part of the gag. Anyway, forget that the IMP
made himself look somewhat simple, it once again made a joke out of Elvis.....My point is this gag could not
have been shown without the IMPS permission and he obviously jumped at the chance to get himself on TV
which was at the expense of Elvis' image.
I also remember what Lee said about the IMP who sold out Elvis' image to get himself paid by walking around
a supermarket with burgers. Yes, IMPS have done more damage to Elvis than anything else since his death.

Brilliant show this week and Lee I want to say your speech about taking Elvis back was inspiring and I
applauded you when you finished.
After you made your speech I looked around the web and it was only after what you said it really came home
that these IMPS really have done nothing to enhance the memory of Elvis in any way, they have helped make
Elvis' image a joke and taking the light off of the music.
I also could not agree more that Elvis should have dropped JD Summer & The Stamps and others. I love the
idea that Lee had about Elvis should have done a couple of tours a year with one being a rock/pop/blues
show with a small set up with just the TCB band or similar and then a second tour with the Stamps & the
orchestra and all that stuff to give a more full show with the big numbers and the gospel stuff. That would
have given Elvis more challenges I think? But as we know, Parker would never allow that type of thing and
instead milked and milked until there was nothing left. Very sad! I really do agree as Lee said, Parker is
easily one of the worst managers in history.

Another excellent show this week guys. Lee you do make me laugh when you jibe Joe lol. It was so funny
when Joe was doing the crying act and Lee pipes up "Whats up? Have you torn a menu or accidentally

The Japan issue is certainly sad to hear and Lee is so right, Elvis needs a great producer to bring a new,
fresh contemporary feel to his music and new contemporary artwork for his album covers. I also agree with
Lee, RCA had given up by the mid 70's because of Parker and his prehistoric attitude to money before
artistic credibility.
After all, why else would RCA through Elvis' big hit 'Burning Love' on a cheap crappy budget album? And
yes, Elvis' 70's album covers looked even then as boring and simple budget releases. Never before or after
has an artist been so abused and mistreated than Elvis was. And people wonder why they could not get Elvis
into the studio?

Thanks Lee and Joe, the show this week was great.
I see we get another example of why I personally stay out of the Elvis world. Someone asks a legitimate
question and someone else will launch into a rant of “how dare you” and this and that. Fair enough the
peeps that did it may well be new to EER and don’t realise that things are different here, but listeners are
100% welcome to ask questions or to pick up on things that the hosts say on the show, just as the hosts pick
up on things said by listeners or elsewhere.
Christ, imagine if Lee or Joe came out with that. Talk about hypocritical…and that is why the reaction in
response to a simple question or opinion is so wrong. I hope you, who ever you are will stick it out at EER
because you will find it a much better place as soon as you realise Lee, Lana and as I say, I am sure Joe to
have not a single problem with their listeners finding something they may say disagreeable. I absolutely
disagree with the stand point of Joe not bothering with something if it has no future value, does that mean I
think anything less of him? Certainly not.
These guys have our utmost respect because of the fact, as someone else said, they don’t go running to
Mama so to speak and bitch and moan or cry in a corner because someone does not agree with them…Oh
No, EER is not the place for that and that’s why we respect these hosts.

The proposal was great to hear and I have to say Lee was hysterical when he come out with the ‘I’m Not The
Marrying kind’, really brought a smile to my face.
Dr Nick’s book sounds like something I really will take a pass at as it sounds appalling...It’s been said before
but the man has a lot of balls to tell the stories he has and still think he can expect any fan to think he did
nothing wrong.
I don’t share Joe’s outlook of not buying the FTD CDs because they don’t have any future value...I wish I
could afford to buy them but there are way too many and too pricey for me, but saying that, I don’t think I or
anyone else should be spoken to the way K & C did. The way they/he/she/whoever spoke you would think
Lee and Joe had been crucified or something? Certainly the way it was written was as if you were speaking
on their behalf because they had been crying on your shoulder?

(Regarding The Elvis Request Show)
Excellent show Lee and Joe.
Very cool to have the first marriage proposal on EER and very funny when Lee did the I’m not the marrying
kind gag, that was so funny.
I guess they are new, so just to let K & C know, EER is a great show and is probably the only place where
fans are free to ask questions without getting bitched about behind their backs by the people who run it, or in
this case by the hosts and we have always been welcomed by Lee to ask questions if the listener have
something to ask or to react to something said on the shows.
Personally, I do not agree one iota with what Joe said about why he does not by FTDs, for me it’s what Lee
said, if I can afford it and I will buy it if I want it. I have bought all the FTD CD’s so far and I care nothing about
them not being worth anything in the future, I buy them because they all have something on them that I have
not got officially.
Joe has said many times on the show that he has not heard this or that which are from FTD releases showing
he is missing out because of his value rule but does that mean I dislike him....of course not, but here on EER
I as a listener am entitled to my opinion and that is what makes the shows so unique, as I said we don’t have
the worry of any of the presenters pissing and moaning about anyone asking and that is why this show has
been going as long as it has because the listeners trust the hosts not to be like other Elvis site owners or
officials.....They have their say about things and people in the Elvis World and we can have ours, even if it
includes things the hosts say on the show...get me? Hope you can enjoy the shows without attacking
someone who says something you don’t like?

Lee, thanks for playing the excerpts of the IMPS as it reminds us not to take Elvis for granted and once again
bringing up the question, WHY do fans go to see these people? Or even more baffling, why they would ever
listen to a CD or Radio Show of a bunch of imitation Elvis’?
Regarding the issue of things of future value, I really don’t agree with not buying something because it has
no future value. But I read and re-read what K & C wrote and one thing was “Collecting of any item is the
likes and dislikes of the individual's own taste. How dare anyone try to tell someone else what they should be
collecting???”.
Unless these people heard something nobody else did, the issue has nothing to do with anyone telling Joe
what he can or cannot buy? I assume the whole blow up is because of Joe, seeing as Lee doesn't collect in
the collectible sense of the word. Anyway, all Tyler asked was “what is it Lee & Joe look for in what to buy”
which was in response to Joe saying the week before, “I don’t buy FTD’s as there is no future value to them”.
As someone else said, since when are the hosts out of bounds from being asked questions in answer to
things they say on the show? That’s what EER is all about and the hosts do that themselves of others and it
has ALWAYS been the same so why should it change now? Thanks for the great show again this week Lee
and Joe, looking forward to next week’s show with you guys doing more great shows.

Dr Nick really sounds like a piece of dirt and should be living in shame after admitting what he has. This man

listener would come to the conclusion I was telling anyone what they can or cannot buy.
I am so knocked back by your unbelievable reaction that I find myself wondering that there is more to this

It was so sad hearing Joe read the excerpts from Dr Nicks book and to hear him speak about finding Elvis
having a seizier and having to fight for his life and dunking him in cold water and then once stablised he
helped get Elvis read to go on stage, and act all innocent and pointing blame at other people made me so
angry. 10,000 prescriptions in the last 8 months of Elvis' life and God knows how many in the years before
that? Money for a house and then a lawsuit against Elvis along with Esposito over the Raquet Ball venture
and he has the gaul to say there was nothing unethical about his relationship with Elvis as his Doctor........ha!

OMG....The stuff Joe read from the new Dr Nick book was unreal. The man dares say he had nothing to do
with Elvis' downfall but my God he sure as hell played a massive part. How he can face the fans after
admitting some of that disgraceful stuff he did is way beyond me? How any fan can show anything but anger
after knowing what we now know he did to his "Friend", I will never understand?
The Kinard museum sounds like one big pot of fakes and things of no particular interest. E.E.R has proved to
the world the fake Elvis bus, the fake Blues Brothers car, the fake Tupelo microphone, the fake concert
poster and whatever else there is that fans waiting NOT to see. How the man has the nerve to call you guys
liars is beyond me. I am actually thinking of visiting the museum in Tupelo and then suing the owner for
taking money under false pretences, False Advertising and whatever else I can get, then when I win I would
send 50% of my reward to EER.
GK once again showing what a plank he is.....Lee, don’t ever play those IMPS on the show again as I thought
I had tuned into Sirius radio..... Gotta say I, thought the aggressive reaction from someone called K & C
towards the listener who asked about something Joe said on the show was a bit strange. Can't say I agree
with Joe's stance of not buying FTD's or other things because they don't have any future value. For me, as

How can this man live with himself ,if one man had the chance to help Elvis and talk to the money motivated
man parker, it was a Dr,when Elvis needed help most, he was let down by people he called friends.
It is instinct when you find a person in serious trouble to get help 911 ,get them to Hospital for real help, and
if your a Dr help them ,till the help arrives.
Dr nic may have saved Elvis at this time, but to revive him etc ,in a cold bath and then get him in to his
jumpsuit and not a ambulance in disgraceful ,I was close to tears when I listened to this and other parts of the
book.
I have to say Dr Nic and Col Parker had a lot to do with Elvis Dyeing so young.
Elvis was human being like all of us with a great talent and touched us all,but was treated like a machine to
make there wallets Fat....no matter what the cost, and the cost was Elvis life..
Still in shock..Very angry...

Hey Lee and Joe this weeks show was AWESOME!!!!! It was great!!!! I was very surprised of all the info that
was in Dr. Nicks book thanks joe for giving us all the surprising info that was featured in this book i don't
consider Dr. Nick a doctor!!!! I defintley won't be buying this book or George Kleins book!!! Also I totally
agree with what Steve Said about how EER is one of the only elvis sites that are totally about elvis most of
the elvis sites are about IMPS!!!! I just don't see the appeal of hearing IMPS they all sound awful!!!! and they
sound like each other!!!! I would rather listen to the real deal(Elvis Presley)!!!! Also it was really cool hearing
a marriage proposal on EER

Brilliant as always guys.
I totally agree that Dr Nick and his “It wasn’t me” crap is hogwash. Yes Lee, how can anyone ever defend Doc
Death after he himself admits to being involved in the disgraceful actions of pushing Elvis to the brink of
death and even then they pushed him even more. The audio of GK.....................................Yes I paused for
Joe to interrupt lol! The GK audio of being the only man on earth to have had Elvis as best man does, as Lee
said, show how much the man spreads BS. Thanks Lee and Joe for another great show...sorry Joe went off
with feeling unwell hope he is better now. Thanks you Lee for continuing and I hope you are much better also.

I think that the person who is questioning Joe's status as Fan or Collector does not really even matter on this
individuals standpoint. Collectors would not even be involved with Elvis's memorabilia if they did not care for
Elvis himself. Joe & Lee have done miracles for the collectors in the REAL Elvis world exposing those people
that are trying to make money off of fake Elvis items.
These two men are avid collectors, as we ourselves are also. Concerning what they collect and what they
purchase IS NO ONES BUSINESS. Collecting of any item is the likes and dislikes of the individual's own taste.
How dare anyone try to tell someone else what they should be collecting???
Selling items from a personal collection and purchasing collections is up to the individual as to what they want
to do.
How can anyone with a sane mind tell someone else what they should be collecting? The Elvis world is vast in
collecting and if you try to purchase everything there is you could simply end up broke in one day!
Therefore as a collector ourselfs, we also limit our collection to certain things.
We just can not understand someone trying to tell someone else what they should be collecting and WHY IN
THE FRK'N WORLD WOULD SOMEONE TRY TO DO THIS?
The individual is very opinionated and needs to keep his opinions to himself as we are pretty sick of him
trying to slam someone who is doing a great job for us the fans and the community by keeping ELVIS
collectibles as real as possible!

Another show of pure Elvis entertainment on the best show around.
Can’t say I agree about not buying things because of no future value. I would take Lee’s choice and spent
the thousand dollars on loads of cds & dvds.
The Dr Nick readings were great, thanks for that Joe and I agree with things Lee said, there are more
questions than answers and his book has shown me that this man had no ethics at all and it was all about the
nice cash for pills. Thanks for the best of shows Lee and Joe, as always you guys give us the best.

I love these shows, cannot get enough of these wonderful Elvis shows from EER. I love how Lee and Joe don’
t bulls##t the listeners, it is so refreshing.
Lee has always been open and honest and never sits on a fence, he has given us his all and has said things
I stand and applaud to and things I sit and disagree with but there is never any crap and I love how he has
made this show that way. Nobody gets abuse for having an opinion, ok the odd idiot deserves a bit of a
ribbing, a Leo lol! But I want to thank Lee for such a great show. Joe is a fantabulous addition and is a great
pal with Lee and they work so well together. For example the question regarding Joe not wanting FTD's
because there is no monitory value in them. Joe gets his thrill from getting things that will be worth money
and Lee gets his thrill from opening up the latest Elvis CD and playing it and looking at the booklet etc, while I
don't agree with Joe's philosophy I don't think it's wrong, just I personally don't get it as they say. But again,
as Lee said that's what makes up Elvis fans Thanks for it all EER!

Great stuff as always this week guys.
I have been listening for a long time and wanted to say I'm with Joe. My passion is collecting and while I do
love the music of Elvis it's the collectibles that give me the buzz. I am love the fact that my collection is worth
what it is and the knowledge that it will only increase in value over time. Thanks for the shows guys, Lee I
have been listening for the last year and half or so and you really have built a great, fun show where fans
can have their say without fear of the people in charge having a clique group who will attack anyone they
don't agree with.

Hi Lee and Joe,
Another great show!
I read the George Klein book. There were a few parts of Elvis history (besides American Sound Studios) that
were questionable. For example the infamous "Finger Wiggling" incident that Elvis even brings up in the "68
Comeback Special" George said took place in Los Angeles and not in Florida. Over all there were some nice
stories about Elvis and how dedicated and generous he was to his fans and his friends.
I am now reading the Alannah Nash book. I do feel she's a little bit of a sensationalistic writer so I keep that
in mind when I read her books. I am enjoying reading about the early years of Elvis's life and look forward to
finding out about the woman that spent time with Elvis.
Linda Sigmund Hood (or whatever her name is) this woman should go in the archives of all the other quacks
that say Elvis is still alive. If you want to continue talking about her on the show I guess we can all use a
good laugh.
Take care and keep rocking!!

a nasty manner at all, you do make me chuckle...When you & Lee were talking about the FTD issue there
goes Joe Joe with I don't buy them, they won't be worth anything in the future, that’s our Joe Joe lol - Looking

Lee and Joe this weeks request show was just amazing! Each week is a dream as we are treated to the best
and most honest show on the web. I was interested in what you guys were saying about when Elvis died and
that Dr Nick says he did not intubate as he did not want to damage Elvis' vocal chords? This is crap, as Lee
said, if Elvis really had been dead for a couple of hours then no Doctor, Paramedic or anyone would ever
think about intubating performing CPR....And Lee is right, the body of Elvis should never have been moved
as it was a potential crime scene. Lee and Joe should try and interview Nick and fire those probing questions
at him and get to the bottom of the bull.

Hi Lee and Joe,
I'm gettting back to listening the Request show. Once again GREAT show # 600!!! Happy 10th Anniversary!!
Just wanted to note there was a lot of slagging that Lisa Marie and Priscilla didn't st y long at the ceremony.
I just watched a newsclip. What nobody mentioned to you (or at least you didn't mention it on the show) is
that Elvis's two oldest grandkids were there too (they cut the birtday cake so they couldn't have rushed out of
their too soon) and both Lisa Marie and Priscilla both said Thank you to the fans for waiting outside in the
cold.
By the way what are your thoughts on the revamp they want to do in Tupelo. Read up and that and lets
here what your opinion is.
Keep rocking in 2010!!!!

Thanks for another great show Lee & Joe.
While I agree with Marty that Leo and other like him are a waste if space, I understand why Lee allows them

Then again, Lee gets accused of only reading emails that are nice to him even though anyone with a brain
and no personal agenda knows only too well that this crap. Funny though, other online shows actually DO
only read out nice and smiley messages and yet some of those who ATTACK Lee, listen to these other

Hi Lee,
I'd like to congratulate you on yet another achievement - show #600.
So far 2010 is off to an incredible start for EER; first it's winning the Elvis Matters Award, and now passing the
600 mark in broadcasts. This is just another example of why EER is w/o a doubt the #1 Elvis program online
(or anywhere as far as I'm concerned!), and this is coming from someone who also does a radio program - so
what does that tell you LOL!!!
Your ability to continue and deliver the most top-quality program online for all this time, especially knowing
what a ruthless jungle the E.P. world can be at times, is truly a remarkable accomplishment. No matter what
obstacles have been thrown in front of you, you've continuously overcome them and persevered in the end.
Many thanks for your tremendous efforts over the years, and also thanks to everyone on your team for their
efforts in bringing us such a professional and enjoyable program. Elvis would be quite proud, I believe, on
how you respect his music and his memory. I tip my cap to you my friend.

I'm tired of reading and hearing about Leo this and Leo that--Leo-MY ASS!
His ilk are like little kids who pull a prank on someone and they sit back and giggle like the juvinile minds that
they are. They keep doing it and get their jollies because they got away with it the first time and they made
you all angry so he keeps doing it. He's coming in his pants because you all keep talking about him. Stop
doing it and he will disappear or come back under another name with the same kind of juvenile nonsense
and he'll keep doing it until you stop paying attention to him. I have seen people like him many times in my
life and once they're ignored they go away.
You want to really piss him off, for the hell of it agree with him and with tongue in cheek thank him for his nice
comments and see what happens.
That's my experienced opinion on the subject of Theo.

wrong with them! Thank god 99.9% of EER listeners are decent like minded people who know a good thing

As for the Elvis is Alive spot.... YES he is alive! He's alive in all of us who play his music, watch his films and
