(Regarding Comment by Phillip Kinkade)
To Phillip Kinkaide,
Hi Phillip, there is a very good possibility that Lamar signed the COA for Charlie Stone's real TCB and that
doesn't mean that the real one is the same one that someone's trying to sell now, especially since someone
has said that Charlie still tells people he has the original.
That has happened before to one of the guys, not me, that they signed a COA for something they knew was
legitimate and the other person switched it and used if for a substitute that wasn't real and cheated the buyer.
I've never known Lamar, Billy, Red, Sonny or the late Richard Davis to ever authenticate something that was
not real or sell something that was a fake.  I know I never have either.

This weeks show was just brilliant and once again we get the boys standing up for Elvis and the fans. The
whole Stamps bus thing is a joke and I was so pleased that while all other sites were sucking up to Kinard
and his “Elvis Bus” tale, EER kicked down the bull-crap and revealed the bus for what it really is, a bus Elvis
purchased for a friend. Elvis did not even pick it out, he gave JD Sumner a blank cheque and that was that.
And now again, I see other “big” sites asking fans to send money by saying “If you can help Bill save the
museum....” But not the guys at EER, no way, they are giving it as it is....this guy wants fans to pay for
everything so that he can then reap the profits from charging fans to hear some fabricated tale of Elvis
having a favourite seat on the bus and all that other crap Kinard is spreading.
Marty Lacker is right, “Why would anyone pay to ride in J.D’s bus?”

I also agree that the person Lee and Joe helped through the FBEI is a disgrace for selling on bogus items to
some other poor fan who does not have the knowledge of these guys. I hope the buyer comes across this
site and finds out what this person has done to them and get them back for their crooked ways. May I also
say to Paul Terry King, I never heard anything in your interview that convinced me that you had any such
dealings with Elvis, let alone some song waiting to be recorded by some bloody IMP! Why is it that every
comment you make it involves some kind of sarcastic comment about your “fame”. I remember Lee has
offered you to come back on the show at least 2 or 3 times and yet you choose not to but insist on dropping
strange remarks! Lee & Joe I loved the show and as for the Kinard bloke wanting a million dollars....OMG!!!!

Things just get better and better on EER!
Tony Bennett is a jealous fool who cannot sing anymore and should have thrown in the towel years ago. The
Charles Stone TCB is highly suspicious and I wonder why Lamar Fike would ever put his name to something
so suspicious? And why has Stone remained so silent is also something to be weary of! I cannot believe that
damn tour bus is still raising it’s dull head, after all EER showed us that this bus has absolutely no importance
it the Elvis story and is just some con that someone wants to make more of it that it really is. Now this Bill
Kinard geezer is saying Elvis had a favourite seat on the thing, give me a break. Marty Lacker has the right
idea, loved the sarcasm on that message and in answer to Marty’s closing comment; Why would anyone pay
to ride in J.D.'s bus? – Your guess is as good as mine!

Will Lee & EER win the Elvis Matters award? The award is for “Outstanding Achievement In The Elvis World”
– Nah, I can’t see them allowing this great show to win, after all, Lee has brought something NEW to the Elvis
world – which is a MASSIVE achievement – and does not make money out of Elvis and speaks the TRUTH
about the cons and the rip-offs out there.....So, I think we will see someone who makes money out of Elvis’
name and maybe even someone who has sold the odd fakes now and then?

ALSO – Damn right it was bang out of order for that toad who ran to Lee & Joe for help with their fakes and
are now selling fakes to other fans. I hope they get what they deserve.

It’s real. What a twat! Lee & Joe, thank you for telling it how it is guys.

Another knock out show chaps and what the hell is that guy on, trying to get a million dollars out of Elvis fans

JD and the Stamps into some kind of cash cow taxi...Yeah, right.
No wonder Joe was so p###ed off about the person you guys helped out selling off their fakes to
unsuspecting fans, it is so low that words fail me.
I’m with Lee regarding the TCB, why would anyone make up a story that they bought a TCB from someone
like Charles Stone? I had never heard of him until I heard about him on your show and I’ve been a fan for
more than 30 years. I think it’s a fake and that whole Ginger Alden engagement ring is rather dodgy too.
What’s with the conflicting tales and the completely different rings? Like I say, a knock out show and a great

Dear Mr. Dawson,
I read your story regarding Bill Kincaid's demand that the Elvis fans and clubs send him $1 Million so he won't
have to sell what is supposedly J.D. Sumner's bus and his so-called Elvis cemetery land.  My heart breaks for
him,is he F@#cking kidding?

I have a better idea, please have them send that $1 Million to me and you which will enable us to travel the
world to look for Elvis because as his nutty, phony half so-called sister,Eliza, says, he's still alive.  We need
the $million because as emissaries of Elvis we naturally have to stay at the best and most luxurious hotels
and eat in the finest restaurants as well as fly in a private jet outfitted just like the Lisa Marie airplane or
better.

Thank you and the fans in advance for their wonderful donations.  By the way the minimum  donation that
must be made is $100,000, we want to reach the $1 Million quickly.  I'm sorry if we go over the $1 Million, no
refunds will be made.  We'll just have to suck it up and live high a bit longer.

Thank you very much,

An absolutely fantastic show and you guys were right to be cheesed off to see someone you helped stop
buying fake items and then to get money back on some of these fakes to turn a around and sell some of
them on to fans knowing full well that these were fakes. What a slime bag, Anyone and I mean ANYONE who
knowingly sells a fake autograph to any poor unknowing individual is nothing more than scum and is the
measure of the type of person he or she really is. I cannot stand people that do this kind of thing and I think it’
s great that you are doing what you do to try and help your fellow fans out with what is not the real articles.

I also could not help but laugh at that Kinard who is asking for a million so he can start his business. Is it me
or is EER the only one who is calling this exactly what it is, a joke, so many site are actually advertising this
and calling for fans to help out.........WHY? I saw well done AGAIN to Elvis Express Radio for not falling in line
and asking fans to help this guy make a tidy sum of cash. Jeeze, the guy owns 16.5 acres of land for crying
out loud, he ain’t short of assets. Besides, the whole thing sounds very suspicious to me, all this crap about
Mr X has changed his mind over the loan agreement...yeah right! And I just love the whole “Elvis’ favourite

The Charles Stone TCB seems like a right old fake to me and the question must be asked, why has Stone
not commented on this TCB and how come he still claims he is wearing the one Elvis gave him? And talking
of con jobs, the whole Tupelo museum thing sounds ridiculous – Hang on, I want to open an Elvis museum so
can fans sent me a million pounds so I can buy things to put in my museum and then I can charge all you
wonderful fans money to come and see them. Well done Lee & Joe for telling it like it is, just like that nasty

Hey Lee & Joe, a totally awesome show this week and hearing Tony Bennett saying what he did about Elvis
comes as no shock to me. Some time ago, Bennett said the only timescElvis would generate queues in Las
Vegas was when the his Memphis Mafia would artificially create traffic jams in the foyers etc. The man is a
total gimp when it comes to Elvis, he has made some of the most pathetic comments about Elvis in the past.
What makes me sick about Tony Bennett is he appeared on the TV special ‘It’s Now Or Never - A Tribute To
Elvis” and performed ‘Love Me Tender’, Bennett could not care less about Elvis but jumped at the payday
and the chance to get some exposure on national TV.

hair.  I would get a DNA test before buying it.
I personally would not want his old hair but that's me.

- Suprised to hear Elvis didn't like 20 Days and 20 Nights. I like that song.

- Love the 6 in a row crew.  Love their choices but don't like all of them re-mixed!!

- "Nail that dog to the tree!"  Lee you should be glad nobody from the ASPCA listen's to this show.   (LOL!)

- Bus in Tupelo: This is clearly a Col. Parker move!!  He would be proud.

- Thanks for Carole and Brenda for confirming how I could be confused and think Elaine was speaking of the
birthplace house was destroyed.

- By the way the TCB show Wednesday was EXCELLENT.  What albums are the 50's and 60's home

Mr Lee & Mr Joe,  I want to say how much enjoyment the programs here on EER have brought me since I

rather than toot ones horn.  Case in point. Over the weekend, I visited a well known Elvis message
board/photo site, and I was stunned at what I saw advertised on the front page - an Elvis radio show being
broadcasted, but not to promote Elvis, but instead THE DJ'S BIRTHDAY!  What is happening in the Elvis
world? Why are so many people out to use Elvis as a means to glorify themselves? Why can't they use some
other singer or novelty and leave Elvis' music and image for ELVIS!!!
I'm sorry to rant so long, but this really annoyed me when I saw it, especially while knowing how EER treats

The cover art for the 4 cd set 'Elvis 75 - Good Rockin Tonight' looks great and I had hoped that it would be
like the 'platinum' or 'close up' sets and include unreleased versions and not just a compilation of all the
usual masters.

But I see that the big release for the ELVIS 75 celebrations is a nothing more than a 4 cd compilation album.
And yet still they make a pigs ear of the line-up. Here we could have had a set of 100 songs that could blow
away any casual listener and yes there are some great choices, but come on..........'My Happiness' - this set
is aimed at the general public, just how much of this song will they be able to sit through?
Then things like 'Blue Christmas' it's a song for Christmas and should not be on a collection like this.

We also have things like Ernst Jorgensen’s favourite, ‘Judy’, which is outdated and should in no way be here.
There is also things like 'I Need Somebody To Lean On', 'This Is My Heaven' & 'Adam And Evil'.

Where is 'Shake Rattle And Roll' or 'Money Honey'.
What about 'Ain't That Loving You Baby' 'Baby I Don't Care', 'Memphis, Tennessee', 'C'mon Everybody' or
even 'Bridge Over Troubled Water'?

The record company has a total lack of respect for the #1 artist for their company for the past 50+ years.
Ernst Jorgensen’s choice of what is and isn't good is a joke, plain and simple.

Yes, he may well put out all of those FTD cds which are so overpriced and yet he continues to demand that
the price of an FTD cd is no more expensive than any other album release……OK Ernst, we really are not
that thick you know.

Leave Jorgensen in charge of the FTD label, but SONY should bring in a younger, energetic mind to take
control of all Elvis commercial projects, someone like Lee & Joe, two guys who could move Elvis forward with
the public.  It is said time and time again.....another opportunity missed by the powers that be.

Hi Lee and Joe (my two favorite guys),
Another great show!!

Speaking of telling Elvis he need needs help: I remember reading I think it was Jerry Schilling's book when
Elvis did a bad show in Vegas and he asked Jerry "how was the show?"  and he told him "You weren't good
and you spent the whole show talking to only one table of people".   Then I remember reading in Eric
Clapton's book the rehab Eric went to, he heard they tried bringing Elvis to the rehab but the minute they
pulled in front of the building Elvis refused to go.  Basically Elvis would have to be willing and he wasn't.  His
career at a standstill didn't help.

-Laughing version of AUL:  I don't think it's brilliant. I think it's funny but I could go with either regular version
or this one.  It isn't the best or worst version of that single.

-Wink Marindale show:  I think it was his shyness coming out.

-U.S. Male:  This always sounds like a Johnny Cash tune to me.

-Remixing the King: Didn't like Let Me or King Creole but Born to Rock I LOVE it!!!

Hey Lee and joe This weeks request show was Awesome!!! It was great. Also the interview with Michael Jarret
was very interesting to hear how he got started in songwriting and how he wrote those 2 great songs for
elvis. Great job on the interview Joe. I enjoyed all the discussions on this weeks show. Also of all the new
remixes that you played on this weeks show my favorite was the King creole one that should of been a single
and should be a hit and also you can't even find it on the EPE site. All the shows are great keep up all the
great work.

Hi Lee & Joe. Another excellent show this week with loads of fun and great music. Lee you were so right to
have a go about the nonexistent promotion for the RE:MIXES album. This is a really good album and once
again the people looking after the Elvis legacy have missed a great opportunity to get another big hit for
Elvis. 'King Creole' is a great track from the album and should have been the pre-album single, not the one
used, 'Blue Moon of Kentucky' which nobody knew was out anyway. I enjoyed the Jarrett interview, I nice
insight into how 2 great Elvis tunes got written and I do love that tribute song at the end.

GREAT news that at last the winner of the Elvis Matters award is being announced, EER HAS to win I know I
signed a petition months back to vote for Lee and this great show. One listener was right, will there be real
justice in the Elvis world where Lee gets the recognition he deserves for creating this unique and original
show.

Thanks Lee and Joe, loved the show this week and what a bumper edition it was with one part touching 80
minutes and a 4th part with the interesting Michael Jarrett interview.
Was interested to hear Joe say he got a nasty virus from an Elvis site. By chance was it a site that is run by a
particular UK Elvis magazine based in the south of England? (not sure if I am allowed to mention the name?).
Because I got a horrible virus from that site and had to get a guy to come in and sort the problem out. I know
one thing, I will not be visiting that site again. Anyway chaps, great show and I also loved the King Creole
remix.

I have read Elizabeth Merrick's comments about Alanna Nash and I have to disagree with her.

There are two books that Alanna did not sensationalize, 'ELVIS AARON PRESLEY: Revelations From The
Memphis Mafia' aka 'Elvis and The Memphis Mafia' and the book she quotes by Alan Fortas.

Those were Alan's words and Revelations was an autobiography, in other words, what Alanna did was tape
every word Billy, Lamar and I said and wrote it as we spoke it. As for Alan's book he told me he was quite
happy with it because she did not embellish anything in it.

There might be some things in both books that Elizabeth doesn't like or believe about Elvis but we told it and
she wrote it like it was.  The only thing that Alanna herself wrote was the one or two page introduction to
every chapter in Revelations and I don't recall anything sensationalized in those intros.

Hi Lee and Joe,
Great show!   Really enjoyed it.
Re: my mention of Circle G I was thinking if EPE could refurbish it to how it was when Elvis was on it.

Another thought when you guys mentioned you'd love to back at the Sun Studio days.  It would be nice if they
could re-enact the scene of Elvis Scotty, Bill and Sam Phillips doing a recording session.  This could be done
during Elvis week since Sun was home to other famous artists.  Maybe EPE could work with them on this.  It
wouldn't use Imps it would be actors.

How is Inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame not being recoginise??? - Yes,  he was dissed for
recognition when he was alive because of Parker but it looks like we need to review more what Posthumous
awards he has now because I don't think country music is still dissing him.

Alannah Nash is a sensationalist when it comes to writing.  Even when she writes with somone who was with
Elvis.  I just finished reading "From Memphis to Hollywood" written by Alan Fortas and Alannah Nash.  You
can clearly tell when Alan is talking and when it's Alannah speaking as Alan.   Every book of hers about
anyone you have to take with a grain of salt.  Her next book I heard is going to be about the women of Elvis's
life.   There will be lots of sensationalism in that.  Keep that in mind when you read.
Take care, enjoy your week.

Love the idea of building rides that Elvis loved near Graceland, the zippin pippin and the dodgems and all
that kind of stuff. No Lee, I have never heard of anyone who does not enjoy the laughing version of Are You
Lonesome Tonight.
Regarding was the soundtracks better than things like From Elvis In Memphis and the other songs from
Memphis 1969, no way…how can anyone seriously say that kind of thing? The boredom of the stupid 60s
films and the terrible songs of the 60s and the weak songs in the 70’s and the monotony of the 70’s concerts
all added to the end of Elvis’ life. Parker has so much to answer for and even fans need to take a small
portion of blame for not demanding better from Elvis. Maybe then Elvis would have done more to break free
of Parker or even Parker may have realised that he needed to change his outdated ways and promote Elvis
better and ensure he got the best of songs and movies available.

Let me be the first to say congrads for sticking to your guns against sony musics execs current offer for them
and I told you good folks here at EER many times that such reel tapes do exhist indeed!! And not just in the
minds of us songsters that worked there. My home being in a recent federal declared disaster area sustained
roof damage and I was really delighted when the contractor handed me down from the attic a reel tape I must
have placed there yrs ago clearly dated January 12th 1969. About 8 songs with the title track WRITTEN IN
THE STARS Reggie Young, guitar and the American Group.  They have problems remembering me
sometymes but I"d wager they"d recognize their own picking when they hear it  LOL!

Can’t lie, I was so shocked to hear Joe say he did’nt like the laughing lonesome tonight and I agree with Len
Ramsey that it really p###es me off when people who don’t know what they are talking about say this great
performance was near the end and he was all drugged up and all that crap. He was young and on top of the
world and he could not stop laughing at something and his laugh is infectious and every single time I hear it I
smile.

Thanks for a top notch show as usual and well done for being so honest. We are all used to the way EER
works and how Lee is very open with us listeners, that is one of the things that make EER so different to
everywhere else. Yes, we have all experienced various message boards that say they welcome all opinions
and nobody will be picked on for their views (as long as those views are the same as the people running it).
Anyway, over the past weeks it can be heard that Joe is a little bit more wary of being so honest with his
opinions, so good on him for being open and honest about how he feels about the laughing version of ‘A.Y.L.
T’. Me personally, I cannot understand how he does not like the version? I think it is great and as for why it
was not released in the States……I’m not surprised seeing as in the 80’s Elvis was forgotten as a singles
artist in America with almost no releases from RCA. I am not 100% certain but if I remember rightly, there was
no singles released or charted between 1981 & the 90’s maybe even the 00’s?

I thought my ears were playing tricks on me when I heard that after Joe’s revelation about A.Y.L.T there was
someone else who thought things like G.G.G and F.I.A were better musically that the Memphis stuff on F.E.I.
M – What’s going on? I’m getting worried!

I was also surprised to hear Joe (sorry Joe, not picking on you lol) say that Elvis is ignored by Country Music.
WHAT? I think even Lee was a little taken a-back by that. Lee is right, in the hall of gold are many awards
with cowboy hats or boots on them. I don’t think Elvis is ignored at all by Country music. In fact I think Country
music recognises Elvis more than any other group in America. You wanna talk about ignoring or treating bad,
take a look at Billboard. The official music body of America treats Elvis like he is trash. Hell they even
REMOVED a few #1’s from him a couple of years back and what did EPE and all the Elvis fan clubs across
the USA do? Did they join together and put pressure on Billboard and that they had done? NO! They did
NOTHING!!!! – At least Elvis still gets regular albums appear on the Country music chart.

Excellent show guys and keep on doing what you 2 do best.

Lee & Joe you are great entertainment. But Joe, what are you on my man? The laughing version is the best,
it always brings a smile to my face and like Lee said it was a hit with BBC Radio 1 back in the early 80's, it
was always being played on the radio. Joe, I am amazed that it has never been released as a single in the U.
S..in the UK 'Are You Laughing Tonight' has been released on a single in 1982 then 1991 then again in 1997
and then 2005, this amazing live recording has a place in the hearts of the people of the UK and is loved by
millions. I cannot understand what it is that Joe does not like about it? Well, I have requested it for next weeks

I have to say that while 'Edge of Reality' is a good song, it does not compare to the great 'If I Can Dream'. I
know we all have our own opinions but I can't see this one...Are you sure it was not some wind up Lee? Can
someone really consider 'Fort Laurderdale Chamber of Commerce' to be better than something like 'Long

laughing version of 'Are You Lonesome Tonight'. Joe, where you being serious?

Hi Lee and Joe,
Loved the show. Keep up the good work.

Dolan Drive house: I don't believe Priscila, Kathy W. or Elvis slept there.  I think Elvis might have visited but
not that often since Vernon worked at Graceland.
Birthplace:  Lee, I agree clear up that this is a replica.  We will still go see it.
Liberty Land:  If the area it's in now isn't too depressed, keep it where it is, restore it and let fans experience
what Elvis did.
Circle G:  You didn't mention this on the show but it's for sale.  EPE should see if it's possible to allow traffic
and zoning to restore that for Elvis fans to see. They can even do some special events on the property for
Children of ST. Judes or Presley Place. They could house more rescue horses.  I think that would be great.

By the way there are 84,000 Elvis Impersonators out there.  This was a fact that Robert Sillerman stated on a
news program the other day.
Take care,

Excellent show guys.
The Dolan home has always been one big con, just like the crooks & the scum associated with the house (ie:
Dee Stanley, Donna Early).
I have always had my doubts about Tupelo because it looks too new. I don't think there is really all that much
left (if any) of the original home.
As for Liberty Land, I agree that if the city is doing nothing with it then yes, move it to the Graceland area and
recreate what it was like when Elvis was enjoying himself there and give the fans a taste of what fun Elvis had
on the rides.

I have to agree with you 100% about Dolan Drive and I think these fan clubs should all be busy informing
their members of the TRUE history of this home and Elvis’ association with it. Once again EER giving us the
real deal and bursting those phoney tales made up to get more cash from the fans. No wonder EPE are not
interested in the home and now we know why.
I agree with Lee and that is no to a message board. These things always get out of hand and every time they
end up causing so many problems thanks to a few people with egos. How many times have we seen message
boards say they wont tolerate bad mouthing other groups or people only to see those running it doing just
that.
Lee really has created a great thing with EER and really does allow people to come along for their say, so no
need for a message board. EER is the best, Lee and Joe, keep these great shows coming.

Lee, I really cannot say thank you enough for the whole Elvis Express Radio programming and for creating a
show that gives us so much great music and information along with really being able to have our say without
getting abuse and ridicule for simply having an opinion, unlike so many other places on the web. Regarding
having a chat room or message board, I think Lee is right in that it would not take long for the egos to try to
take over and then just like so many other message boards, we would get the same old 6 or 7 people who do
all the posts and then tge clique groups would start and that is something we do not have at EER which is
another reason EER is so unique and welcoming to so many other fans who have been put off by message
board behaviour. Great show Lee & Joe, I never miss a show.
