Lee & Joe, another brilliant show with another 3 hours plus of superb radio enjoyment. You guys make me
laugh so much when you get going and Lee, you were so funny because you could tell that the whole Joe’s
name on the site thingy was spontaneous and just came to you and THAT is why it was so funny. No bloody
pre-planned scripts and stuff. That is what makes EER the great show that it is. No scripts, No Ego’s, No BS
and No IMPS! – As for the person who sent in that most ridiculous of emails……all I can say is well done to
you both what you said in reply to the fool.

Thank you for the excellent show. I am writing to you for the first time but have been a listener of your great
show for a couple of years now.
I wanted to say how nice to see that the friendly Elvis world is still the place to avoid. From the things I have
seen from people who once were all over Lee and EER and are now, because they didn’t get their own way
against him and throw abuse at him and with 2 faced people pretending to be all friendly with those they were
actually against, when it suited them and people like the latest charmer who once again accuse Lee of not
being fair & other things while they themselves hide behind fake ID’s….all these things have made me stay
right out of the Elvis world.

I listen to EER, and I enjoy reading comments and things on the EER site. I enjoy my own CD’s. But I will
NEVER again attend any Elvis events or join any forums or fan clubs. Those 2 faced, backstabbing, petty
minded Elvis Fans have ruined the Elvis World for me and so many others………Lee, do not EVER change
and I can only hope that Joe does not become just another fair weather part of this great show who will throw
a tantrum and turn tail as soon as he does not get his own way. I really hope not because Joe and Lee
together are a fantastic team and really do entertain us.

Sorry for going on and on but I just want you to know that I only really do appreciate what you do and that for
me, EER is my Elvis World.

I so enjoyed this weeks show and I agree that the book about that history of Elvis’ family sounds like one to
miss. Especially if the people involved are all over that horrible Dee woman.
The email from the fellow who thinks the FBEI is a terrible thing was unbelievable. Well, I guess it takes all
sorts?
I agree that the banter between Lee and Joe was really funny and the whole name thing was great stuff.
Where did Joe go at the end of the show?
Looking forward to next week and the return of Lee & Joe.
Thank you for providing us with such great Elvis shows. I love them so much,

Hello Lee and Joe, this is one of your listeners who because I enjoy the way you do your unique shows and
because I love the music of Elvis Presley means I get called brainwashed by someone with nothing better to
do than to send in abusive emails, insult other Elvis fans and call you guys names and give you abuse for
being so evil that you are highlighting fake Elvis items so that fans who are not in the know or have
connections don’t get ripped off. Geeze, no wonder the guy would not include his real name and email, I
guess even he must have known it was pathetic what he was saying? Either that or  he is indeed one of
those very people you guys are warning fans about? Either way, the guy is attacking Lee and Joe for trying
to HELP their fellow fans.

Anyway...What a fantastic show again this week and as always, we get nothing but open opinions about
things in the Elvis world and that new book from that Browder guy really does sound a total joke. Elvis bought
Graceland in 1975 huh? Good job Lee and Joe spent time with this guy and knew about those in the book
otherwise nobody would have known any different about the claims in this waste of money of a book. I sure
as hell will not be buying one.

You guys really do make me laugh at times and Lee, you were so funny when you pointed out about Joe and
having his name on the site. Joe really did not know what to say? It was so funny.

I really enjoyed the show this week, but I must say that once again we get a brilliant example of how shi##y
the Elvis world is.......

How EVIL and NASTY Lee and Joe are for being so F###ING out of order for trying to prevent people from
getting ripped off by unscrupulous dealers selling fake autographs, tour jackets, sun records or any other
dubious Elvis items. I mean what on earth are these guys thinking?

Tell you what Lee and Joe, write a book (just copy and paste text from the web), sign some old Elvis records
with Elvis’ name and try to pass it off as real and then maybe you won’t get someone sending you emails
attacking you but hiding behind a fake email and remaining anonymous...It’s no wonder most Elvis fans that I
know do not get involved in fan clubs, forums or Elvis events. I loved it when Lee pointed out about Joe and
his name being on the site and played on the brave anonymous emailer who accused Lee and Joe making
EER all about them and nothing to do with Elvis, lol.......Good point, after all, Elvis hardly EVER features on
any EER show and nobody on EER ever talks about Elvis or defends Elvis and it always plays IMPS,
promotes IMPS and always talks about themselves. Oh and yes, for the benefit of the righteous & brave
anonymous emailer, I AM BEING SARCASTIC!!!!

Lee, thank you for a brilliant show this week, you really are so wonderful and Joe, you are really smart.

Thank you for this new request show and I do have to applaud you for not doing what so many other Elvis
sites and shows do, which is cover up things and not allow everyone their say and yet you get accused of
this and that but all you try to do is promote Elvis and support your fellow fans. On a lighter note, Lee had me
doubled over with laughter when he went into the Joe’s name on the EER site subject. You could tell by Joe’s
reaction that it certainly was not planned and caught him way off guard but you two were really, really, funny
and never fail to bring a smile to my face while enjoying the great music of Elvis.

Thank you for another great show.

The book from this Browder sounds like an absolute waster. You will probably be able to buy this crap
together with that Charles Stone crap as a package for $20 tops.

I was amazed at the crap you read out from the one who thinks the FBEI is some kind of terrible thing in the
Elvis world. Well, I guess it is if you sell fake crap. Me, I think it is about time we had Elvis fans running things
that HELP fans and does not rip them off.  Actually I did not realise ‘Joe’s Bits’ was not just on EER? It does
say Joe's Bit's & it's contents © Elvis Express Radio. I presume it is the same Joe on the Insiders putting them
on their and not someone just ripping of an idea from EER again?

I was not surprised to hear that a UK Elvis magazine has been done for selling bootlegs as I know of one that
was sending out adverts for bootleg material with their magazine and I remember thinking this guy is gonna
get busted if he keeps this up, and there we have it!

Thanks again Lee and Joe for this week’s show, it was as always FANTABULOUS......even if Joe did decide to
run away towards the end.

Yep, the Presley History book is absolutely one to avoid – although how dare you advise us on what not to

Hi, discovered this show through Elvis Insiders and have to say that I like what I hear. This is so different to all
the other shows on the web. It’s up front and in your face but allows the fans to have their say and to be able
to air their opinions about the Elvis world and things in it. Having a look around the site and LOVED the rare
photos of Gladys funeral and the like and the candid photos were beautiful....my only complaint is more
photos are needed please! Ask Marty was really interesting, I learnt some new things thanks to some cool
questions from the listeners and for Marty Lacker’s totally up front answers. The cartoons are a real scream
with some very funny toons. Disappointed with Joe’s Bits as I have seen the very same things on the insiders
board by I guess the same person? The worldwide #1s are cool and some real surprise chart toppers with
things like ‘Summer Kisses, Winter Tears’. The FBEI was brilliant and something I am so pleased to see on
the web as there are too many con artists out there. All in all and for the most part I got to see things not
readily seen elsewhwere, EER is a really great find with the very best in Elvis Radio and some really cool side
bits on the site to look at and enjoy. Just listening to the TCB show and reading the articles & reviews.

Dear Lee,
A Brilliant TCB show, of February 1971 with Elvis singing Greattt songs, His voice was noticeably more
different than usual, I think they are his Best Performances when he has a cold and his voice was hoarse,
very much like in 1968 and 1969 when Elvis produced HIS MOST OUTSTANDING studio performances and
shows. It is the very RAW sound of Elvis when he can't quite reach those high notes.
Bring more shows like this one.

just how much Elvis disliked the woman. I also agree with the question, how can ANY Elvis fan give the time of
day to that woman after her blatant attempt to disgrace Elvis Presley with her sick, twisted lies?
As for Jerry Presley, again well done to Marty for making it as blunt as possible about this frauds claim to be

(Regarding The Elvis Request Show)
Let me add my informed two cents regarding Dee Stanley & Jerry (So Called) Presley.  First of all Elvis
despised the bitch.  There were many times when he (Elvis) saw her through the window of the den walking
towards the back of the house & he told us to quickly lock the doors so she would have to go to the front
door and knock to get in giving him enough time to go upstairs or leave so he wouldn't have to see her.  He
did it a number of times while his father was sitting there with us.

Secondly in regards to Jerry Presley, the best way I can put it is, if Jerry and I was in a room and Elvis walked
in, I would be the only one who would not have to be introduced to Elvis.  In other words he never met Elvis
and if you had ever asked Elvis about him he'd say,'WHO?"  Nobody knows if this guy is really a distant
relative or if he's a fake.  None of us ever heard of him before Elvis died including Elvis' first cousin and the
closest to Elvis, Billy Smith.  If Donna Presley endorses him then you know more than like he's a phony.

Hi Lee mate, I have an idea here, perfect matchups, TOM PARKER marrys DEE, then have a son called LEO

The comment Ben made was a great one, regarding outtakes with swearing etc, I have to say I enjoy the
outtakes, showing Elvis is human, while at same time I understand what people say about them not being
released because of being private Elvis studio outtakes, it's the what came first thing, the chicken or the
egg? It makes a great debate, nice one Ben.

I finally have to say,due to rumours of you Lee and Joe falling out, even if you both did, why are people so
bloomin nosey wanting to know your business in first place?
Why can't they just sit and enjoy the number one Elvis Presley Radio Show EVER and get involved in real
good debates like Ben's. Lee, you and Joe are fantastic to listen to, I think there's some jealous people out

This sure as hell opened my eyes to see how these message boards work, especially those ones that
deliberately remove mention of EER then takes credit for brining the song to that board for people to hear...
really has been pathetic to watch.
I know people have said in the past that they are glad Lee and Joe have never stooped to the level of certain
others who have been deliberately setting out to cause upset and trouble for Lee, Joe & EER and after

Lee, you were so right......This really was an amazing show from Elvis.
Isn't it amazing to look back and for the first time in years, Elvis changed things up a bit to perform songs that
HE wanted to and what happens...Parker throws a fit and damands that Elvis should always perform the
usual set list to keep the fans happy. It's so sad that the greatest entertainer the world has ever known was
never allowed to do things that HE wanted to do. This one show, August 19th 1974 was I believe the last
chance for Elvis to have been saved......This show was the beginning of the end and it's all thanks to the

on any groups posting messages and opinions and yes, by doing this in nearly 10 years EER has avoided
any of the group attitudes and egos and instead has only been seen as all listeners are equal and we are all
one big EER listener land family.

I second what Roger Young says. I would hate to see EER go the way of a message board and as Roger
also points out all trouble stems from message boards. Besides that, I love that there are no little groups and
we are all encouraged to forget being part of particular groups or clubs, but to be simply fans of ELVIS and
we all listen to the King of music on the King of all Elvis radio shows.

I have to say Carol and Brenda hit the nail right on the head. Lee’s excitement really was very contagious
and it was indeed fantastic. That’s what I love about Lee, he is always upbeat, energetic, always stands up
for Elvis and the fans, he knows what the fans like because, well, he is one. And just as Lee said, we may not
know one another and yet we are all part of the same fam-EER-ly. Thanks for it all Lee, because without you
there would be no EER.

Roger Young
(Regarding The Elvis Request Show)
The show was fantabulous as it always is. And the new song along with the unreleased live stuff was a real
treat.
May I have a say re the 2001 message board being the EER board? I myself would not like to take part in this
because I love the way something is said on the show and we get to hear people’s opinions the following
week. I feel that a message board would make any feedback on the following show repetitive and I feel that
would damage part of the shows uniqueness.
I love it that I never see Lee taking part on message boards or chat rooms. Lee is so right that show hosts
should keep off boards and save their opinions for the show, otherwise it all becomes somewhat stale as far
as hosts opinions go.
So I feel an EER message board would have the same effect and have listeners saying, “Yeah read that
opinion on the board…..And that one…..and that….etc”
Lee, it’s your choice in the end as it’s your show but that is my personal thoughts. I LOVE EER and the fact
that it is so different and unique to other places and apart from that, message boards have a tendency to
create clique groups, as we have seen many times, and that only creates trouble.

This week was kickin’…I loved the show and Lee, well done for stamping it to the IMPS. Looking forward to
Lee back with Joe so he can rip the IMPS some more.
The new song was amazing and so funny. Showed Elvis as the real person he was and not the squeaky
clean boy that Parker and now EPE want him to be.
I remember hearing Lee say once before that even if a new song was found and released, some fans would
whinge and moan about something to do with it……well guess what? I see on other sites we get “Its not a real
song” or other moans and groans. I for one thought it was brilliant to hear and I cannot wait to hear it again

are so many little radio shows its crazy. Yet Lee and EER along with Lana and now Joe still, as far as I am
concerned, lead the way. This weeks show with new song and new live recordings and mixes just again show

I could not have had a better August 16th. I started off by playing the TCB show 2 hour special, which was a
brilliant tribute to Elvis, this was followed by DVD's of King Creole & Follow That Dream, then the 3 hour Elvis
Request show which was absolutly excellent I might add. Lee and Joe again gave us a superb Elvis show and
I must also say how proud I was that Lee didn't use the emotion of Elvis' death at the end of the Request
show in order to ask for donations. Once again just proving how much respect your have for Elvis.
I then ended August 16th with the 68 Special, Aloha From Hawaii & then the tears flowed with the CBS

(Regarding E.E.R News Item)
So Garth Brooks has sold more records in the US than Elvis? Until very recently I'd never even heard of
Garth Brooks. Still would not know any of his records if they came on the radio.

According to the RIAA the top 3 recording artists in America are:
BEATLES, THE 170million,
BROOKS, GARTH 128million
PRESLEY, ELVIS 120 million

Michael Jackson comes in at 17th with 61.5Million.

Several questions come to mind about these statistics.

According to EPE and most of the media Elvis has sold over One Billion records world wide. EPE also says
that "It is estimated that 40% of Elvis' total record sales have been outside the United States". So RIAA's
figures don't make much sense. Elvis One Billion records sold has been quoted for at least 20 years so his
tally must be some 1.2 Billion or more by now. Perhaps the Colonel did a bit of creative book keeping?

It is also claimed by their fans that The Beatles have sold over a Billion records yet only 170 million in
America according to the RIAA.

The media has also quoted Michael Jackson as selling over 750 million world wide yet he is only 17th
according to the RIAA with 61.5million. It's also surprising that The Eagles have sold more copies of their hits
album in America than Jackson's Thriller.

Perhaps Lee and Joe could debate this on their radio show?

Dear Lee,
Just 2 words ........... Beautifull, Funny

Elvis brought Light into the World of many Fans in many different countries from China to Japan, Europe to
America and Russia to Africa, if there wasn't Elvis there would be no Beatles, no Cliff and no Imps(who
started and were influenced by Elvis). There is no more Joy of being an Elvis Fan as being in the most
pleasurable place in the Universe.

His songs can make you Happy, Sad, Romantic, Angry, Lovesick, Heartbroken and Sentimental,
Elvis can sing Ballads, Rock'n'roll, Gospel, Operatic, Country, Rhythm and blues and he can get down and
dirty with the best of them.

His studio antics are so hillarious that you can listen to them again and again and again, Elvis says some
choice words when he cocks songs up or when he deliberately puts naughty words into the songs like
'stranger in my own home town' not officially released of course.

I would just like to say ELVIS were ever you are, we LOVE you and THANK YOU
for the GREAT music you brought to the world and the amazing TALENT you showed to all those who
doubted it.

Above my tribute to THE GREATEST ENTERTAINER who ever walked the Earth.

I have to agree that Lee opting not to play the donation advert at the end of the show this week was a truly

Superb show guys....when Joe read out the email from the guy who found EER during the 30th Anniversary
Elvis Week in 2007, in reminded me that I too came across one of those flyers in Memphis and I have never
looked back. 2 years on and I, along with many other fans have seen how horrible the Elvis world can be and
how fellow “fans” are happy to attack, cause trouble and make childish demands. I am one fan who is
pleased that EER has never stooped that low and started to attack these people on the show.

This week was another example of how cool this show is. I love it that even though there were several
technical problems, the show still went on and I loved it all......What a FANTASTIC ending, my God you really
knew how to hit us in the face with that ending, plus I must point out how PROUD I am that Lee did not play
the donations tune after that powerful & emotional end to the show......That spoke volumes. Thank you to
