(Regarding news item re New Tahoe Book)
Hi Lee
The following is for the comments section of your website.

Congratulations to Joe Krein, and Sue McCasland and all of the Praytome (pronounced pray-to-me)
Publishing staff. The Tahoe book looks like a real gem in the Elvis memorabilia collection. It is true that not
much is known about his Tahoe performances - Not many photos (just like Vegas) as camera's were seized if
you were spotted with one.

I have been lucky enough to work with Paytome publishing in various great products they have produced.
Including, The Behind the Image books 1 & 2 & 3 (which isn't out yet). Also on the DVD's of Behind the image
1 and 2. Plus I worked on The Adrenaline DVD's 1 & 2 and have worked on 3 also (again not out yet).

But I was also happy to restore and work on 18 photos for the Tahoe book.

So Lee, you were wrong in saying that only Joe krein of the EER team was involved in the book as Two were,
Me me me me me LOL.....

I am looking forward to seeing the finished product and urge all of the listeners to buy or order their copy
now. This book will contain many rare unseen photos and some great recollections from Sue and Joe's
awesome memorabilia. Oh and did I mention 18 photos from yours truly...oh yeah I think I did....ha ha

Can't wait!

Hi Lee,
Thank you for the Carl Perkins show. I remember hearing about the fatal car crash that changed Carl's
history. He did have a very tragic life.
Listening to Carl's album from 1978 really makes me think what would Elvis sound like if he recorded in
1978???

Love and hugs to Joe too - who is in hospital at the moment with a bad infection......

Looking forward to the new TCB Shows...but I have to say that I have really enjoyed the variety of music on
the Lee Dawson Show....and also on the Tony King Show.....together with the zany humour .... I know so
many people just want Elvis - but i have enjoyed being introduced to so many other kinds of music by you
both....

Love to all from all your friends at Ultimate Elvis.

Hi Lee, Lana and everybody there, I have been absent from here for a while, my mother's health and my
teaching again were taking a lot of my time, but believe me I keep in touch every time I can and hopefully I am
back again.

I listen to the Gospel hour, and read some comments, but mine is: I love the gospel music of Elvis and after
my stressful life, it relaxes my soul. I enjoyed it very much and I myself own every gospel song Elvis recorded.

Lee as for you, I am so sorry to hear you are not feeling good, and will keep you in my prayers for better
times, listened to your show, beautiful and enjoyable as all of them, I am looking forward to the TCB show in
August.  Take care of yourself first my friend, remember, if you do not feel good, none of us will.
God Bless

I never miss your show or Lee's Friday show and I am really excited to hear Lee is changing the Wednesday
show to Elvis called the TCB Show.

Sorry Robert but while I love Elvis' gospel songs I found your show is a little too churchified for me I am sorry
to say. And although I agree that the show should be for everyone and not aimed at Christians I wish your
show all the best and hope your listeners enjoy the shows you bring them.

Can't wait for Friday Lee and here's to the new TCB Show.

Why is it that when someone offers a kind prayer and mentions God or Jesus' name they interpret it as
"being preached to ?"

I mean with all the politics and bickering that's occurring on so many Elvis sites, I personally find it quite
refreshing to visit this site and tune in to this friendly program.

If hearing a prayer or God's name or Jesus' name bothers anyone and they'd rather not listen, then simply
turn the volume down on your speakers until after it's over, or just skip through it!

I feel we should all give Robert and Lee a big round of applause for making this show happen.

(Regarding the Elvis Gospel Hour 13.07.08)
Hi. I just want to say that "gospel" means "good news" and is primarily associated with the good news that
Jesus Christ came to earth and died for the whole world. As Christians, we are commissioned to spread this
gospel to the ends of the earth, so that all people can be saved for eternity. Jesus said, "I am the way, the
truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father but by me."

Now, if one is a Christian and truly believes that Jesus is the only way to eternal life, what kind of Christian
would he/she be not to share that? Some may feel that Americans are over the top with Christianity, but how
can you be over the top in any situation if you feel that someone's eternal destiny is at stake? Besides that,
Christians need the support and prayer of fellow Christians to make it through this life in a world that is evil.

Robert is doing what the Bible tells him to do, and probably what the Holy Spirit is dictating personally to him
to do. Listening to Elvis's songs is uplifting and entertaining, but I believe our God is using Robert to speak to
someone, maybe many, who do not know the Truth.

If you are offended, could it be that you are one who needs the Lord? I am sure, if Elvis could come back to
this world, after having met Christ face-to-face, his entire focus would be on singing to God's glory, praying
and reading scripture to help ensure that no one perished but accepted the word of God as ruth.

Choosing something/someone to believe in is not like choosing a social club for membership. Eternity is at
stake. This is serious business. Love to all and praying that you will accept the Lord Jesus as your savior!
Robert, God bless your show, and please continue.

James, Nobody has said the music is offending anybody, it's the way the show is presented. For me
personally I want to hear the music of Elvis and not be preached to. After all this is an Elvis radio show and
not a church.

HELLO LEE
i have been reading comments about the elvis gospel hour and i think its a good change for elvis express
even if some of the fans dont care for it. im always busy through the week going here to there and its nice to
stay home on sunday afternoon and listen to elvis gospel hour.
its a shame that elvis didnt get to make more gospel albums. if people listen to the show more maybe so
many of us could get through busy week more easily than always rush rush rush. now im going to say what
elvis presley himself said about this subject.
"I DONT SEE HOW ANY TYPE OF MUSIC CAN OFFEND ANYBODY."

Hi Lee another great show and the news that Joe Krein is going to interview Julian Riley is fantastic and
totally unexpected. It's Wow news, if you interested in the genealogical roots of Elvis Presley.

Hopefully he will help fill in some of the blanks in Elvis' family tree. In tracing back my family tree it was
discovered that I was 21st cousin twice removed to Elvis and when you find a link from your family tree to
Elvis' it is wonderful.

I have been reading about some of the photos this guy has and the information he has. I really did not expect
his name to pop up on your show.
Well done cant wait.

p.s. If possible, ask him about Rosella and any information about whether she was married?

Hi Lee,
Once again it was a great Friday show. I can't wait to hear the new TCB show in August.

I'm curious to see the pictures that Joe was mentioning. With the funeral pictures I feel like I'm invading the
family's privacy although I know that some family members offered the pictures.  I guess I would think would
Elvis want pictures of his mother's funeral to be shown to the public.  He loved his mother very much but I'm
not sure which way he would go with that one.  That might be a question for Marty Lacker.

I would like to see the early pictures of Graceland and some of the older photos.

Thanks again,  I hope all your family is doing well.
Rock On!

Charles Smith
(Regarding EER & the Elvis Gospel Hour  06.07.08)
This new show has really got the Elvis fans talking! It’s easy to see that there will be no possible “one-gospel-
show-fits-all” scenario that will work to satisfy every listener. That’s because Elvis fans are diverse, a melting
pot of people from all around the planet.

When you think of the vastness of that reality, one would think that the only “safe” Elvis fan show (all shows
on EER) would be just to play the songs he sang with no commentary, interviews, or any embellishments
included whatsoever.

But, that would be a drag wouldn’t it? I mean hearing his voice singing is a wonderful thing to do for sure, but
how about the Elvis trivia? He was far more than a singer. He was a unique personality with many facets and
Elvis fans want to hear about those many facets.

EER is a source of education for Elvis fans as well as a source of entertainment. Thank goodness that EER
exists. Thumbs up to EER for expanding their programming to include the gospel side of Elvis. I think this
addition rounds out the overall EER programming quite nicely. People are always selective in what they are
willing to give their time up to, as they should be. On EER there is something for each diverse Elvis fan.

The Gospel songs that Elvis sang all have a gospel message that they deliver. That doesn’t seem to get any
comments from the listeners. They aren’t complaining about Elvis singing Christian lyrics. They aren’t
complaining that Elvis delivered a Gospel message thru his Gospel singing. No, they are complaining
because another human being, Robert (could be anybody doing it), is following up on the Gospel messages
in Elvis’ songs and somehow that is just so wrong.

Here’s an idea to consider: EER could offer two separate Elvis Gospel shows to the listener. One show with
Robert just introducing the songs by title and maybe some basic trivia about it (the album, the year recorded,
who sang background) and a second show where Robert does his thing. Maybe then you could satisfy all the
world’s diverse Elvis fans with this approach. Maybe make one an AM show and the other a PM show? And
then maybe, just maybe, even then you would still have some dissatisfied fans commenting.

Chas – a diverse Elvis fan

The interview with PTK was worth nothing more than a pile of chicken feed or hill of beans. His comments

I have one further comment to make regarding this matter. Try and write something like this article about any
other faith than Christianity and see what replies you would get then. (ask the government  how much
freedom of speech you have and you will be surprised with the answer)

I may seem odd to you but I don’t have a dummy to spit out and yes I have a religion and you may have
yours or not but this is an Elvis web site is not the place to discuss it.

Thanks to you and Robert for some great shows.

This is a comment to Joe Krein,  you have too much class to get down to the level of Paul Terry King. We
need to stop listening to his stories and move on with what is real and what people want to know.

And regarding this other "Lee" If there are any fans out there that could care less about hearing about

I wrote the review for the God of Elvis books and from what I remember you said the /review/ offended you
which seems a bit odd.

The books have been released in Australia but I don't think they are released over here yet but I was simply
reviewing the books and giving my own opinion.

I also remember from your reaction that you thought everyone has the right to their opinion /but/................?. I
can't agree with you on that. Everyone has the freedom of speech without any buts.

I know very little about religion but I was certainly not saying /Elvis/ thought he was God as you seem to think
and the book does not say that either. However if you wish to extend your library of Elvis  you will find books
that imply Elvis thought he had special powers. There is no doubt from what I understand that Elvis was a
religious man, although some may add he was when it suited him, and again I don't understand why you are
stating this as neither the book nor my review implies otherwise. I believe it is documented well enough.

I assume my review has helped you decide not to buy the book so hopefully it was a good review and a job
well done. It is not a question of right and wrong as you ask it is a matter of personal beliefs and opinions.
Another person may read the review and want to buy the book, who knows?

Charlie Rodgers sums it up best "you got your religion and I've got mine"

I hope to be doing some CD reviews soon and hopefully you will enjoy them and then the toys can stay where
they belong. LOL
All the best from Kevin in Stevenage

Hi Lee
The Elvis world never seems to amaze me. There has been a review on your website for a few weeks now
regarding the Elvis code/the book god of Elvis and no one has
said any thing about this book except myself.

Elvis was a Christian who beleaved in god/jesus he didn’t think he was god or anything like that.

Not one other person has said anything about this review but they are all writing in over the Elvis gospel
show saying it is over the top but no one says one thing about someone writing about Elvis being god

Cant beleave this myself come on every one please give your views

Am i right or wrong
