SIGNED ELVIS PRESLEY LP NICELY SIGNED ON SLEVE
"THIS IS A VERY RARE PIECE OF MUSIC MEMORABILIA. IN GOOD CONDITION. THIS LP SLEVE COVER IS
SIGNED BY  ELVIS PRESLEY. THIS LP IS PART OF MY OWN COLLECTION."
Here we go again, another completely BOGUS Elvis Presley autograph being passed off as some mega rare item
that is a must have addition to your collection.
The good thing is that the scribble (and that really is what this is) is on the inner sleeve so the record cover is not
damaged. The bad thing is the seller wants £160.00 (US$295.00), which is way over priced for a re-issue of this
great album with scribble on the inner sleeve. As always, lets hope that nobody falls for this.

Elvis presley
"There three records in two album of elvis presley, one of them album called the u.s.male the other one is called the
wonderful world of elvis.. great tracks of songs."
This is another example of if it's Elvis it just has to be worth money.
This seller has a copy of 'U.S. Male' and 'The Wonderful World Of Elvis' both Camden releases and pretty much
worth nothing. That is unless you are this guy because he wants a starting bid of £2,000.00 [US$3,200.00] or you
can buy it now for £7,000.00 [US$11,210.00]. This really is one of those "You gotta be kidding" moments but I am
pleased to say nobody would be silly enough to fall for this one so the seller will soon realise he or her has been a
bit of a durrrrrrrr!

Elvis Presley B/W Autograph Signed Picture 8x10 Studio
"We purchase public storage vaults at auction. We purchased a room owned by Producer Allan Blye, In this auction
High bid gets Elvis Presley B/W Autograph Signed Picture 8x10 Studio picture G358/S/3 signed to Guillermo "My
Best to You Elvis Presley", Dont miss out on this rare find. I tried to sell on my other site but didnt reach my reserve.
Starting no reserve."
We honestly doubt that this is the real thing. We have never seen Elvis sign his name in this
way, in fact the only thing that is right to our eyes is the dot over the I in Elvis. The seller said he did not reach his
reserve on his other site and so is selling it on Ebay with no reserve and starting at a low price £32.00 [US$49.99].
We personally would say stay away from tis dubious item.

ELVIS PRESLEY 1972 CAPE PHOTO WITH HILTON LOGO RARE
"A 1972 cape tour photo of Elvis in the butterfly jumpsuit. Has a hilton logo stamped in the front, and in the upper left
corner it has an ELVIS NOW stamping. Ultra rare photo, this photo has been rolled but is in mint condition!!! And will
be shipped rolled due to the size. SOLD AS IS. "
Here again we get another item that pops up with a special promotional Hilton Hotel / Elvis Now stamp. These
things suddenly appeared about a year ago with a series of stamped items claiming to be mega-rare things from
Elvis' Vegas period. As we know, Parker kept at least ONE of every Elvis product produced. Loanne Parker, the
Colonels widow states NEVER to have seen these stamps before and not one of these "rare" items/stamps have
ever been found in Parkers archives. We have yet to be convinced that any of these things are genuine.
Unfortunately one poor fan has paid £62.00 [US$100.00] for what is nothing more than a vandalised Elvis picture.

GINGER ALDEN'S ENGAGEMENT RING?
With this ring I thee........Ask which one is which?
Ginger Alden has announced that her engagement ring given to her by Elvis is going up for sale with an estimated price
of £18,300 and up [US$30,000]. And the ring being offered is the one pictured on the bottom row of the image left. The
ring above that is the ring Lowell Hays made for Elvis to give to Ginger Alden as an engagement ring. Not only do the
rings not match, but the stories behind the engagement seem to differ also.

History tells us that on January 26th 1977, Elvis calls Memphis Jeweller, Lowell Hays in the early hours of the morning
(1:00am) and tells him he wants a
ring made for Ginger [Alden] and he wants to be able to present it to her that evening.
Elvis wants the ring to have a stone just like the one in his TCB diamond ring but is told that there is simply no way of
getting a stone that size (11.5 Karats) in time for that evening. Instead, Elvis has the diamond from his TCB ring removed
and that was used, and the ring was ready for Elvis to be able to propose to Ginger that evening in his private bathroom
at Graceland.

Ginger Alden tells us "In December of 1976, Elvis Presley performed what would be his last shows in Las Vegas, and he
invited me to accompany him. Seated on his bed inside of the penthouse suite at the Las Vegas Hilton hotel, Elvis called
me in, asked me to sit down, close my eyes, and hold out my hand. I felt a ring being slipped on my finger. I was stunned
when I opened my eyes and he asked me to hold out my other hand and he slid this gold and diamond ring onto that
finger. Elvis loved jewelry, wanted me to share that love and I wore this many times in Las Vegas and afterwards."

We know that the story Lowell Hays tells DID actually happen and we only have Gingers word for her side of the story. All
we can say is if you are thinking of parting with 16 grand or more, you better be pretty damn sure she is telling the truth.

ELVIS TCB 14K GOLD NECKLACE GIFT TO CHARLIE STONE
"THIS NECKLACE WAS GIVEN TO CHARLIE STONE BY ELVIS PRESLEY Purchased directly from Charlie Stone approx. 10yrs.
ago. TCB 14k GOLD LIGHTNING BOLT NECKLACE GIVEN TO CHARLIE STONE, ACCOMPANIED WITH  A LETTER OF
AUTHENTICITY BY LAMAR FIKE, ONE OF THE ORIGINAL MEMPHIS MAFIA."
This TCB was allegedly sold by Charles Stone (who worked for Concerts West and an aid to Colonel Parker) who claimed that
it was given to him by Elvis Presley. The seller says that they purchased this 10 years ago from Stone and also provides a
letter of authenticity from Lamar Fike who worked for Elvis for many years. Our concern is that this TCB is in actual fact a fake
due to all original TCB necklaces being made WITHOUT a clasp. The chain on the TCB was solid, where this one comes with
a chain with a clasp...! We cannot think of how Lamar would endorse a fake TCB and we would sure like to know more about
why Stone would be passing off a bogus TCB necklace.

As an update to this, on (20.10.09) we received an email from a listener who contacted the seller regarding this and also why
there was no paperwork from Charles Stone, and here is their reply.

“A friend of mine bought this necklace directly from Charlie Stone (around 8-9yrs ago). I left Charlie a voice mail message on
Friday asking if he would take the time to write a letter. I really don't see why he wouldn't, but I have'nt heard back. I plan on
calling again this afternoon. And for the clasp, Elvis only gave necklace's in one piece, later many would have a clasp put on so
they wouldn't mess up their hair.”

We particularly like, “later many would have a clasp put on so they wouldn't mess up their hair.” We personally have never
come across anyone given a TCB by Elvis and then add a clasp so as not to “mess up their hair”.

Also pointed out by the listener was the fact that Charles Stone still wears a TCB and proudly announces that it is the original
one given to him by Elvis in the 1970's. In answer to this the seller apparently refused to reply.

SHODDY SIGNED SHAVER SNAP
"WE HAVE A FRIEND WHO NEEDS TO SELL SOME OF THEIR CHERISHED ELVIS COLLECTIBLES. ATTACHED TO
THIS E-MAIL YOU WILL FIND A SIGNED PHOTO FROM 1976. BUT, IT GETS EVEN BETTER! THIS IS A SEAN SHAVER
PHOTO AND COMES WITH A L.O.A. FROM SEAN! WITH SEAN BEING QUITE FAMOUS IN THE ELVIS-WORLD HIMDELF,
YOU WILL ACTUALLY BE GETTING “TWO FOR THE PRICE OF ONE”.

We were sent this by one of our long time listeners who asked for our advice. This "signed" photo of Elvis, taken by Sean
Shaver is currently doing the rounds and being offered for $325.00 PLUS postage inside or outside of America. So, if you
live outside the U.S.A this would set you back £205.00 [US$339.00]. Anyway, it's such a shame that a nice picture of Elvis
has been totally ruined by someone scribbling Elvis' name across the front.
All we can advise is that you spread the word and warn your friends that if they get an email offering this to them for a
pretty low price for an Elvis autograph, they should avoid it like the plague, otherwise they will join the many fans who now
own some very expensive photos/paper with someone's scribble on. Let's try to stop that happening again.

Authentic Hand Signed Elvis Presley TCB Stationary
We stumbled upon this one…..
This is a very rare item strait from the king himself. It is an authentic Elvis Presley hand signed TCB
stationary, it has "Taking Care of Business" TCB on top
Elvis Presley Enterprises on bottom with address.

More importantly it comes with affidavit from Richard H. Grob - the director of security for Elvis from 1967-
1977- the affidavit is signed and dated July 12 1995 by Richard H Grob. Affidavit states the stationary was
hand signed by Elvis for employees of him. It was signed before his death in 1977.

WOW – It was signed BEFORE his death in 1977, that makes it extra special then? Sadly this is about as
real as the signed acetate that Dick was peddling a few years ago, which to us looks like both are from the
same hand (see image), but again that hand was not that of Elvis Presley. Sadly, one seriously unfortunate
fan has just parted with £388.00 [US$647.00] for this terrible fake

A beautiful autographed sleeve for the single “hurt”.  The flip side is “for the heart”. Excellent condition. Includes L.O.A.
$250 + p&h or best offer.

BEST OFFER – I’ll offer £5.00 seeing as the cover has been spoilt by someone writing all over it. Don’t know who wrote it
but it sure as hell was not Elvis Presley. Rather appropriate that it is signed on the HURT single, because whoever parts
with their money for this will wind up being hurt for sure!

MUSEUM FAKES
Here we have a few items connected with "That Bus" and are part of the 'Presley Heights Museum' which
is located in Tupelo, Mississippi, USA! Unfortunately visitors are not able to take photos so we are not
able to see the extent of the claims inside. What we do know is that owner Bill Kinard claims that the
licence plate pictured is the
"Original tag that was purchased by Elvis as a tour bus". This is obviously
nothing more than a novelty plate.

There are also claims that the jacket which is worn by John Krondes, who is an Elvis impersonator is
Elvis Presley's very own, personal jacket that he would wear on tour? This again, we consider to be a fake
and our thoughts were justified when we were told by Marty Lacker that Elvis never had such a jacket and
these were only ever worn by the inner circle. And finally, we have a fake concert poster which is on display
in the 'Presley Heights Museum'.

fact it is more probably a jacket sold through Elvisly Yours. They sold these back in the 80's. There are

This item sold for £306.00 [US$504.00] with 15 bids and as with the other items available listed here from the same seller this is nothing
more that a modern day creation made with the intention of misleading fans into thinking this was some rare promotional item from Elvis'

2. This auction is for 1 Elvis White 24" X 48" heavy banner.  Banner is in very, very Good Shape. It does show slight signs of wear( please

Take a look at this banner and you will notice how new it looks. Is this a genuine banner from Vegas? We doubt it very much, especially

Elvis Presley Vintage 2 records from estate Sun label
Sun #209 Blue Moon of Ky & #215 Milkcow Blues Boogiee.
I bought this pair of records at an estate auction just outside of Nashville Tn. I feel very fortunate to have been able to
buy this framed pair of records. Unfortunately I need the money worse than I need the records. My loss is your gain.
This is a vintage pair of Sun label Elvis Presley 45's I have not and don't intend to remove them from the frame they
have been in for what looks like quite some time. I am selling them as I bought them. They don't show any signs of
problems or damages. The top record is "Blue Moon of Kentucky" #209 while the lower one is "Milkcow Blues
Boogie"
We saw these and it screamed wrong! We have added 2 known REAL SUN releases for the same titles and you will
see the obvious differences between the 2 lower labels and the 2 that are being offered by the ebay seller. Is this
seller knowingly selling 2 FAKE SUN 45's or are they also the victims? We will never know, but one thing is sure and
that is some dodgy, unscrupulous scum bag has passed off 2 very bad fake SUN records as the real thing, and as
usual, there will always be fans so desperate to own something like this that they wont investigate and will just bid
without investigating.

ELVIS PRESLEY ORIGINAL SIGNED HIGH SCHOOL PHOTO 100% COA
"THIS IS A RARE 8 X 10 SIGNED PHOTO OF A VERY YOUNG ELVIS PRESLEY WITH A BAND MEMBER WHEN HE

When did people become so gullible? Yes people fall for fake autographs all the time but come on...."a very young
Elvis Presley with a BAND MEMBER..." IT'S BILL HALEY YOU IGNORAMUS....not some band member!
And as for the autograph.....GIVE ME A BREAK! It's fake and about as real as the sellers description of Bill Haley.
The reason I ask when did people become so gullible is because bidding opened at just £0.99p [US$1.62] and after
32 bids it sold for £410.00 [US$667.00]........FOUR HUNDRED & TEN POUNDS. Some unknowing fan has probably
just blown his/her savings on an Elvis autograph they have always wanted when in reality all they have is a £3.99
10x8 which has been devalued to almost NOTHING because someone wrote Elvis Presley on the bottom right of the
picture. How do people sleep at night?

Here is another example of that old foe, the AUTO-PEN. Or as with Fools Gold, the 'Fools Autograph'. This culprit is
responsible for more misleading vintage autographs of Elvis Presley. The top photo is another in the set of these fan club
pictures from 1956. The Auto-Pen was a machine that took an autograph, in this case Elvis who wrote Sincerely Elvis
Presley and then the machine would write it out on the photo leaving an indentation making it look like Elvis actually signed
that photo, but as you will see from the other 2 pictures below, have the same signature still a nice piece but certainly NOT
a real autograph.

ELVIS JUMPSUIT Las Vegas HILTON Concert SCARF
Which one of these rare Hilton scarves is the original one from the 1970's? The answer is the purple one!
The white one is one of a limited edition of just 100 worldwide and what got Joe all uptight is the fact that the replica has
the exact copy of both the signature and the H and these have nothing printed on them which indicates they are actually
replica's.

The fear is that there is nothing to stop anyone buying one of these and a year or so down the line, putting it in a frame
along with some photo of Elvis on stage and pass it off as an original Elvis Presley concert scarf.

Will it happen? We think that it is inevitable that it will and it is going to be impossible to tell if it is real or not when
bidding for it on ebay. One day in the not too distant future, fans who have always wanted an original Elvis scarf will pay
top dollar for one of these and that is a great shame. If only the people behind making them had thought of this before
and simply added the word Replica in the H or something?

Elvis Presley owned and personal Eyewear from Graceland
"Elvis Presley's personal eyewear given to Johnny Harra during the filming of "This Is Elvis" these were Elvis' own
eyewear taken directly from Graceland and Elvis' wardrobe, Johnny wore all of Elvis' own personal belonging during
the filming of this movie for which Johnny Harra portrayed Elvis at age 42. On completion of filming Graceland gave
Johnny these personal owned Elvis glasses to keep for his excellent portrayal of Elvis. Johnny was told that Elvis
wore these glasses during the filming of "ELVIS ON TOUR". This is a true piece of history."
Now then, we cannot know for sure if this is real? Even though it comes with a real letter of authenticity from Johnny
Harra himself on 'This Is Elvis', Warner Bros stationary!! Yet we do have serious doubts about this item which sold on
ebay after 37 bids and reached £1,716.00 [US$2,695.00].

Our two major suspicions are these:
1. The story is Elvis wore these in the movie 'Elvis On Tour'. But anyone who has seen 'Elvis On Tour' will know that
Elvis wore the classic aviator style glasses and the ones like Harra's but they had the TCB and the lightening bolt on
each arm of the glassses.

2. Who in their right mind would take a pair of sunglasses that belonged to Elvis Presley and have their own name
engraved onto one of the arms? Nobody would really would they? So with these 2 points we personally feel someone
now owns the worlds most expensive IMP glasses ever.

Now then, why has this been added to our list? Well, again Joe who owns the real purple one in the item above has
never come across a bright orange one of these but more of a concern for him is that the scarf looks too new and as
the saying goes, if it looks brand new it probably is!

1970's HILTON ELVIS PRESLEY SCARF W/FACSIMILE SIGNATURE
"Scarf measures 39" long and 8" wide. Elvis Presley scarf bought at the Hilton in the 70's when I went to see a show.
Scarf has a large Hilton "H" and a facsimile signature of Elvis that reads: Sincerely Elvis Presley. Tag reads: 100%
Polyester Made In U.S.A. RN 23151 Hand Washable. Scarf has creases from being packed away.."
This one is rather odd...The Sincerely Elvis Presley looks good but what about that H? Compare that to the actual H
logo of the Hilton Hotel on the scarves above and it is glaringly obvious that this is nothing else but a FAKE!

This could not have been bought at the Hilton Hotel in the 70's when the seller went to see a show. But if you need
any other points raised then...It's too small, it has a label with 100% POLYESTER which real Elvis scarves did npot
have those, so pass on the word and stop anyone you know from biding on this totally fabricated bogus Elvis item.

But despite the obvious things that show this is FAKE, 2 fans have bid so far and taken the price to a $26.00 which is
way too much money. STOP! DON'T DO IT!

Elvis Presley 1972 Summer Festival Glass/Pen NOW RCA EP
Elvis Presley 1972 Hilton Summer Festival Glass/Pen Counter top..The Glass is very thick...It is

It's such a shame to see another one of these "Elvis Festival" glass items because these

more money hungry than actually caring about REAL items from Elvis history?

We feature several of these things in previous entries to the F.B.E.I and this one is no different
to us, this is one big FAKE....Take a look at the pen, which is original by the way....added to give
the fake more credibility and to rip off some poor fan of his or her money. The pen holder is
clearly NEVER made to house this pen, it just does not fit properly and looks totally out of place.

SIGNED ELVIS PRESLEY ALBUMS
These particular items were brought to our attention by one of our listeners and we were pretty
much left dumb founded after seeing the online store had 16....SIXTEEN Elvis albums all of
which are NOT SIGNED by the King of music.

Pictured left are just 3 of the 16 albums that the store 'Autographs America' has on sale for fans

One of the albums pictured 'He Touched Me' is priced at $675 and signed in nice silver paint
pen which we have previously pointed out were not in use during Elvis' lifetime.

There is not one album listed that we consider to be signed at the hand of Elvis Presley which
leaves us wondering about the authenticity of the signed items by other celebs and how many

Now here are the problems with this signature....The "I" in "I love you" has a line with a cute little circle at the top, like a 9.... Elvis' I always looked like a 7.

On to the signature itself.... The "E" in Elvis has again those cute little loops....Elvis did not do this. The L has a loop at the top and at the bottom. ...Elvis was always
one big long loop. The "I" in Elvis has a strange curly thing....When Elvis dotted the I in his name, he used a dash and not the cute little curly thing you see.

When Elvis signed his name it always looked more like ELMS and not Elvis. ...Also, when Elvis signed his name most of the time the P of Presley was hooked on to
the end of Elvis. So, Elvis' signed name was 'ElvisP resley' ....the resley is separate to the P. [Note - he did not sign this way on legal papers ].

The P in this signature looks more like a capital D....His P was not like this, as you can see in the real signature in the image. Elvis' hand writing was almost always
child like. He had terrible penmanship. This is way to flowing and pretty. We only wish the photo was better so we could see if there is any hesitation marks with the
pen,

Now the other problem with this whole bible.....Joe has the original auction catalog which featured the Bible in question and the description  does not say anything
about the last page of the book being signed by Elvis telling his Mama he loves her. Surely this would have been mentioned in the original auction or are we
supposed to believe the archivists at Graceland did not know it was there and nobody at EPE noticed this? - The only thing mentioned in the original auction is a letter
which was written to Elvis who sent him the bible.

Combine all these points and the only conclusion is that this message from "Elvis" has been added AFTER the Las Vegas auction, meaning this original Elvis
owned bible has now been ruined by being  defaced in order to try and make it more important than it really is.....There is a lot of that going on in the world of Elvis
Presley and we know that there will be more and more in the future.
RECORDS MEMORABILIA RAREST EP SIGNATURE ELVIS PRESLEY
"THIS IS A SUPER RARE EP FROM THE KING OF ROCK AND ROLL, ELVIS PRESLEY, WITH THE
ORIGINAL SIGNATURE FROM THE KING HIMSELF! THE VINYL EP IS IN VG+ CONDITION AND THE
SIGNATURE LOOKS VERY  NICE!"

We have seen some diabolical looking Elvis autographs since launching the F.B.E.I but this one really
does take first place for the "Are you taking the p#ss award". Without any doubt what so ever, this is
absolutely NOT signed by Elvis...unless he was drunk, blindfolded, hung upside down in a fast moving
jet travelling at the speed of sound making fast left turns.

The staring price for this joke of jokes is around £4,592.00 [US$6,999.00] making it the most expensive
tatty record defaced with some scribble ever!

ELVIS PRESLEY 1956 SIGNED SHEET MUSIC 1950s WOW
"Rare !! ,ELVIS PRESLEY SONGBOOK SHEET MUSIC PICTURES INSIDE AS SHOWN AND FAN CLUB
INFO FOR THE 1956 FAN CLUB. in great condition / ALSO... LOVE ME TENDER 1956 BUTTON HAS
EPE 1956 ON THE SIDE OF IT.. ALSO ANOTHER SMALL PIN AND PHOTOS.....Well kept  .  dont let this
pass you by,, may never find another"

Yet another bogus autograph trying to be passed off as an original from the hand of Elvis Presley.
While nowhere near as bad as the one below, (not sure we will ever see one that bad again?), this one
is a more basic fake autograph but still nothing like Elvis' real one.

As always, we wonder of this is some kind of con by the seller or is the seller someone conned
themselves and don't realise it is a fake? My alarm bell rings to how much knowledge this seller has
due to the mega low price he wants for, what he calls an "Elvis Presley 1956 Signed Sheet Music". The
starting price is just £15.00 [US$24.00] or you can buy it now for £48.00 [US$74.00]....I think you will
agree that is a very suspiciously low price for something the seller calls "Rare" and "May Never Find
Another". Needless to say......Stay clear!
